Both teams were undefeated and to both teams lost 38-35.

Hopefully the end results are similar. :)

Back then the Giants were already in the playoffs and could suffer a loss; now they are fighting for their playoff lives and on a 4 game losing streak.

One can hope that the Giants continue to play like they did vs. Green Bay. If they do that, I can see them making the playoffs and doing well once they get there. They are still in the hunt and it's entirely up to them to find the heart and will to make it another special superbowl year.

We can be optimistic. Though we all know, it's an entirely different people and places involved. Yet, we also know, history can repeat itself. This is a storied franchise and we can hope for another storybook ending like 2007. If my father, now in heaven, has anything to do with it, it will be a Giants superbowl victory this year.

Back then they got in through a wild card. This Sunday when we beat Dallas, we're tied for the division.
