That list does not scare me at all!!
Crus and Nicks will get their money of course.
Some good solid backups and depth listed there. Osi and Tuck of course. Boley and Kiwi.

But no real huge issues. We can't deal with in FA and the draft.

But if you want to guess who we draft THIS year, have a look at these lists.

Hmm... weird for some reason it showed no posts in this topic.

Between C-Web, Tuck & Nicks... that is a lot of $$ that needs to be spent.

2013-
kp
kiwi
cruz
beatty
weatherford
boothe
ballard

KP, Kiwi, Boothe, Weatherford, Beatty and Ballard should be avg contracts. Cruz we'll have to break the bank.

I'd draft a Safety and DT this draft early, so we could get rid of Rolle and Canty's contract if need be...unless we can just restructure with lower pay.

2014- (We also get that TV deal which will boost our salary cap)
Tuck
Boley
Nicks
Joseph
Hynoski

MAYBE C-Web...depends on if he's our legitimate option or how much he'll sign for. Nicks will be a huge contract, Tuck will be 30 or older so he should be cap friendly I'd assume. Rest should be avg contracts.

Not worried really, when you first go over the list I went WTF!! but then thinking about it, a lot of these guys won't have contracts that effect our cap so we should be in much friendlier cap situations...we'll keep the core group of guys with maybe losing one or two each season.

If the cap is indeed a :flat" cap of only $122m that would absolute kill us...... look at ALL the great players we have to resign in the next 2 years.

We signed Weatherford so that's great

At least these four in 2013: Osi, Kiwi, KP, Cruz... possibly Tynes, Beatty, Ballard, DeOssie

At least these four in 2014: C-Web, Tuck, Nicks, Joseph... possibly Boley and who knows

It'll be interesting to see what happens with Cweb. He's been one of the best CBs in the league, but giving a 31-year old DB a huge deal is the very definition of "buying high".

Then again, our hand may be forced if the young guys like Prince don't show a lot of improvement.
