Bingo. Im happy with this if it is a smart deal, which I have to believe it is.

Solid depth at CB is vital, especially how we blow through them.

T2 will be CB3 in 2012 behind CWeb and Prince. Then Bruce Johnson and hopefully Justin Tryon and a now later draft pick.

Here it is on rotoworld:

Giants agreed to terms with CB Terrell Thomas on an undisclosed contract.

Thomas said 12 days ago he was "closing in on" a new contract the G-Men. It's likely a low-base, incentive-laden pact as he works his way back from the second torn right ACL of his football-playing career. Thomas has yet to resume sprinting, but is tentatively expected to be ready for training camp. His re-signing could mean the end of fellow free agent Aaron Ross' time in New York. Thomas graded out as just the league's 60th best corner by Pro Football Focus in 2010 before missing all of 2011.

So I guess that's the last we see of Ross.

Best of luck to him. He was a part of 2 Supe Bowl wins.

I dont think the GMEN would RISK a huge contract on someone coming off 2 ACLs. At least i hope not

Maybe it a backloaded type deal with very little up front in first year guaranteed until he proves himself... something like that with alot of incentives.

Good chance we'll see him twice a year wearing a blue star on his uniform

According to Rotoworld:

It's likely a low-base, incentive-laden pact as Thomas works his way back from the second torn right ACL of his playing career. Thomas has yet to resume sprinting, but is tentatively expected to be ready for training camp. His re-signing means the end of fellow free agent Aaron Ross' time in New York. Thomas graded out as just the league's 60th best corner by Pro Football Focus in 2010 before missing all of 2011. He is an efficient tackler with playmaking ability when healthy, though. This was a big signing for the Giants, keeping a top-five free agent cornerback from hitting the market.

He's a Texas boy, I can see it happening as well. Does that intimidate me though? Not in the slightest. Best of luck to him wherever he ends up, but hopefully we can work something out

Just heard him a little on Sirius and he said its a 4 year deal, 1 year option, $11-12 million guaranteed, and I can't remember now what the total was. Maybe $28 million? Just caught a little bit of the interview.

Confirmed: 4 years, 28 million, 11 guaranteed. 4th year is a team option.

They must think he's completely healthy, cause that's a nice contract for a player coming off major injury.

And where the hell is this money coming from? Must be backloaded to take into account the TV deal in 2014.

I think that's awful, but they know about T2s health more than I do, so we'll see

Too big a deal considering the condition imo. However, I love T2 so hopefully this is a good sign!

I like T2, and wanted him back.

That being said, WOW!

for a guy coming off his 2nd ACL tear on the same knee. For a team with salary cap issues and need to to Pay Cruz and Nicks big money in the near future.

Kind of hard to justify this one...2 SB rings in 4 yrs will certainly help.

In Reese I Trust!!!
