I would definately love to have Carr back as the backup, especially because he is inexpensive and experienced.I also feel wayyyyyy more comfortable having him as the backup (knock on wood) should Eli's streak come to an end, than a Rookie/Ryan Perrilouix.

With that said, I could easily see him going somewhere like Miami or Jax where he may get a chance to play a little bit, in which case we need a backup.

Who would you all like to see as the backup if Carr goes?

Personally, I am a fan of Leinart, Henne, or Shaun Hill

Carr's days as a potential starter are over. He is a backup now.

If the FO wants him back, he'll stay here. Couldn't get an easier gig . . . . .

Chris Redman would be my pick if he doesn't re-sign with Atlanta. I can't see Shaun Hill going anywhere.

Would rather keep Carr though.

It's his jealousy of Eli's $$$. Now that he can no longer say that Eli doesn't deserve the money, he has instead focused on how goofy he can be. Let Harooni be, he is harmless.

i just joke around with the shirtless pics gets a raise out of the conservatives and phobes around here.

but seriously Brady quinn would be a great option for backup.

Quinn could be an asset in the weight room to help Eli gain some mass.

Or...what about if the Broncos sign Peyton and trade Tebow to us? That could take all of the media attention away from Eli.

Brady Quinn would be a awesome pickup in my opinion.. If we ever were to lose ELI for any amount of games, QUinn is a guy i think gives us best chance to pick up where ELI left off...

plus he is very athletic. and younger option than a Carr.

but if we bring back carr im ok with that too.

Brady Quinn is more concerned about being a bodybuilder than being a QB. Getting built like that doesn't do anything for him and will only hurt his ability to QB.

I prefer the Giants to keep Carr.

bbeing well built is an asset these days, you all got used to Eli i guess. but the QB postion is changing and you are going to need to be stronger as these linemen are getting bigger and bigger.

now the on ly thing would be ,will eli give up the number 10?

Carr is actually much more athletic than Quinn who was never really a runner. Carr ran for his life for majority of his career. Quinn is supposed to be more of a pocket guy.

Not sure who would be better but who cares ? Eli goes down and it is a wrap.
