He was suppose to fly in Tonight, and work out or do something tomorrow morning.

But here is a link on Bennett, the kid is 25 years old and have a lot of potential all he needs is a little coaching by the Giants.

As long as they take well to coaching, Mike Pope can turn anyone into an all-star.

He could be another guy the giants get that couldn't win a SB with his old team (Dallas) and comes here and gets a ring just like Canty did after leaving Dallas.

If u remember all the Dallas fans laughed when we signed him. Said they didn't care about losing him. Much like what's on Dallas boards now about Bennett.

Now they were mostly right about Canty who didn't pan out first few yrs or earn his keep. He did however pan out last season. Very instrumenta in anchoring down that middle run D. Got sacks, knocked down passes. He may have to redo his deal in order to stay.

I think we can turn Bennett into Probowl TE with Pope coaching him

Uhhhhh, huh? Canty had 31 solo Tackles and 4 sakcs this year, we had one of the worst run Ds in the NFL, and 1 knock downed pass....

Steller play!

Id trade Canty for Cofield in half a second.

Canty played well overall this year, but yeah, a big +1 on Cofield who's making the same money that Canty is.

Half of that is the fact that we don't have a legit MLB or linebacking core for that matter. And idk if you know this but Cofield was rated one of the worst DT's in the league last year by PFF.

I'm truly excited to get Bennett....seems like they placed so much pressure on him to be special down in Jerryland, that he wasn't able to relax and let the game come to him naturally.

All I know is that if we can make Boss and Ballard play like they did, this kid is going to be a Pro-Bowler in 2 years for us.

I can't wait to hear all the complaints from my friends in Texas about how "If he only played like that for us" or "If we only gave him 2 more years"

Then I'll just smile and toss them their crying towel

Guy is a ****** and very conceited for the amount of production the last 4 years.... He may be a decent blocker but his attitude alone isn't even worth it. Check out any of his videos on YouTube even I think being obnoxious is funny but this guy is straight up whacked out... Basically let's draft fleener.

signing bennett has no bearing on if we draft fleener.

besides, fleener offers a diff. skill set out of the TE position. We had TE's and still drafted Beckum, fail to see the difference here.

also, Fleener can be a slot receiver as well, has the speed to burn lb's and safeties, and the body size to obliterate nickel corners.

and we'll go bpa regardless off position with how our roster is shaping out.

our db's are set, may need a safety.
lb's are set when we re-sign Goff.
OL is set but will need to add a RT.
wr's are set when we re-sign Smith.
RB's are set when Jacobs re-signs.

Lets say we don't add a RT, Jacobs doesn't re-sign, and we still need a WR bc Smith doesn't re-sign. Does that mean we pass on Fleener if he's the BPA for a reach at OL, RB, or WR?

this roster is going to be different, but twice as good imho. we're getting back so many injured players and we got an all star QB with all star WR's in Nicks and Cruz. our DL is amazing, and we have amazing secondary and depth.

Bennett also is going to be dominant. remember those words you spoke aout him...Reese don't sign jerkoffs or wastes, well for the most part. Bennett has ALL PRO TALENT, has great athleticism and size. Eli made Ballard look great, imagine how he'll make some one as talented as Bennett look
