I think it all depends in how much the Whiners paid for him. To this moment I haven't seen any specifics on the 2year deal.

They should! I think he'll excel in their simplified offense. They need to worry about who's gonna throw him the ball though. It seems as though their fans think Peyton is a lock. And I read this morning that bringing in Manningham was to lure Peyton with more offensive weapons.

Last season Davis was the only guy they had that could get seperation. Manningham can do that!

How about Alex signs with the Dolphins, Peyton follows his center Jeff Satruday and signs with the Titans, 49ers start an unproven rookie at QB, you gotta love it.

Now that Peyton has chose Denver the 49er's may actually have to go with Kapernik! If I was Alex Smith and I led my team to the NFCC game and the organization didn't want to give me a fair deal, I'd leave! Even if it is to Miami! At least the weather is nice [:)]

Signing Smith would be a bad move for Miami since they already have Matt Moore. Sinking money into another average quarterback doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
The Niners could bring in David Garrard.
