Adam Caplan reports, via his Twitter account (https://twitter.com/#!/caplannfl), that Giants middle linebacker, Jonathan Goff (http://www.giants101.com/tag/jonathan-goff/), is visiting with the Cleveland Browns today. Caplan posted:

While updates about Goff's recovery have been few and far between, most Giants fans expected to see #54 back on the field next season. If he were to take a job with the Browns (or any other team), Giants fans might start wondering how the Philadelphia Eagles landed middle linebacker, DeMeco Ryans, so easily.

Caplan also reported that Giants defensive end, Dave Tollefson is starting to make the rounds, posting:

DE Dave Tollefson scheduled to visit the Seahawks on Thursday, according to a source. The Bucs and Packers also have interest.

I can see Tolly in GB.

It'll be a sad thing to see these two guys gone.

We're losing a lot of guys damn.

Are we going to be a completely different team next season

Not sure Tolly really fits a 3-4 scheme.

Not sure Tolly really fits a 3-4 scheme.Plus they need a good pass rusher and run defender opposite Matthews.

Since when is losing a back-up DE and a LBer that didn't play a single game last season making us a completely different team?

I hope we get Goff back, but it's not like we can't go on without him. We just went through an entire season without him.

So, u add Tollefson and Goff , to Ross , manningham and Jacobs, and it is a decent group not coming back..

Thanks dude for reading outside the box and this thread and making sense.

Obviously Tolly and Goff aren't why we're a different team.

We didn't lose Jacobs/manningham/Ross?

OK.

Got to be honest, the Packers would surprise me if they picked him up.

why would the Packers surprise you? they are the team that drafted Tolly

They seem to have the same mindset that we do. They look forward not backwards. How many of their old picks do they usually come back to after they find success elsewhere?

completely diff.? ... .a bit of an over-reaction ... Eli, Bradshaw, Nicks, Cruz, only K-Mac. prob. gone off o-line ... a talented TE added

D you still got the pass rushers in JPP, Tuck and Osi ... Joseph will be around ... Canty and Rolle could be cut, but that is a wait and see .... we could have the same Super Bowl winning LBs in Boley, Kiwi and Blackburn ... Ross is gone, but TT comes back, C-Web, Prince ... K-Phil at Safety

we got our punter and kicker

Hixon comes back as our return guy and maybe 4th WR

hey Jacobs might even be back if nobody offers him silly money and if not ... we get to see some fresh legs at RB ... maybe Scott ...

so yeah, not whole diff. team and even Ballard, who might be PUP will be back mid-season

maybe we re-unite with Smith ... certainly not an entirely diff. team

Id personally rather hold on to Tolley than Osi.

but thats just my feelings.
