Maybe we should find out his reasons why before condemning him and writing him off.

Now why would we do that? It's much easier to vent when you don't have all the facts!

Hes probably setting himself up with a new apartment up in SF. Too busy to fly back to NYC to sign autographs.

Not to mention the carpal tunnel...

Ummm.... His reason is that he's a 49er now.

I can't blame him for cancelling. Jacobs did the same thing right before we cut him and no one said word one.

Mario has been signing autographs every weekend since mid february. Including after signing with san fran, id see if he has a reason before jumping on him. Btw, JPP, webster, jacquian williams have all cancelled autograph apperances last minute this month. Dont single out Rio

With all of the problems in the world, is an autograph session really that critical?

People need to find a hobby

I thought posting here and looking at football is a hobby. Oh well.Nope, for most people in here it is a full time job(8-10 hours) a day!. J/K. But yes I too thought watching football and collecting football related items was a hobby til now. What is the "politically correct term" we should now use for us Giants fans??

You think this is bad? Did you happen to see the thread about hating our new TE because he's selling something he paid for instead of just donating it??

The offseason after a SB win gives the dim witted nothing to ***** about so they start making up ****. I can't wait for the draft so at least they can be wrong about something that matters!!

So you are saying that all of the viewers who watch football are getting paid for doing it? Bull. Also a lot of people do things for a hobby that can be put as a job like gardening.

Maybe the 49ers GM asked Mario for an autograph... on the dotted line.

Silly thread.

He made a play in the Superbowl that will go down in the teams history. I wont hate him, except when we play the 9ers. Then he is the enemy. Otherwise, I wish him well.

The guy is moving on, his heart is in San Francisco now, not NY! Some fans just can't except the fact that players today are nothing more then mercenaries, They flow to the money! Why should he care about NY Giant fans now.

I don't blame him either. Money talks. The NFL is a cutthroat business. They will cut you at the drop of a dime. It's a paper chase and I have no problem with him going after that payday.
