anytime man, don't take these players too seriously though, the Giants don't usually bring in the people they are going to draft

Giants worked out the following players (NOT COLLEGE)

CB Antwaun Molden - former 3rd round pick of the Texans. Spent the 2011 season with the Patriots

OLB Quentin Groves - former 2nd round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2008 NFL draft. Groves was a sack specialist at Auburn and finished tied for the Auburn career sack record at 26.

Bolden and McMillan are interesting prospects. I've had the chance to see McMillan on a couple of ocassions and he can play. Pretty physical player with good speed. Could be nice for depth and ST.

Jerry Reese when asked about drafting players they picked but didnt bring in for a visit

Q: Did you have him in for a workout or a visit?

A: No, we saw enough of him. We really didnít need to do anything else with him. People think it is a smoke screen when you bring guys in. We really donít play those games. When we bring guys in there is a reason for it. He really didnít have anything for us to bring him in for.

anytime man, don't take these players too seriously though, the Giants don't usually bring in the people they are going to draftThats not true at all.. THe giants do pick quite a few players they bring in for workouts..

The giants worked out Ramses Barden, Clint Sintim, Adrien Tracy, Travis Beckum, Jerrell jerrnigan, JPP, Duke Calhoun, Phil Dillard, Chad Jones...etc

Of course, sometimes a guy drops to you, that u didn't think would, like Prince Amukumura, and alot of the workouts the giants host, are locals, or guys who might be more of a UDF type, or longshot, as your allowed as many local visits as u want... And, even if they don't work a guy out, sometimes u can tell there interest by how much time they spent with a guy at teh combine or there proday.. But, the giants certainly do bring in guys there seriously interested in...

Exactly.. it just baffles me how these myths about the giants doing smoke screens turn into facts.

Reese has said in the past they bring in guys that they have question marks with. They want a better look at them in person either on the field or in interviews.

He said a guy like KP they did not bring in because he was clean, and they had no worries about him at all, knew exactly what they would get.

So if you look at it in that context, ask yourself what the giants are looking for when they bring these guys in.

oops forgot this one good call

but today on the wheelhouse on SNY, Sanu said he only visited the Jets and Giants and when asked who he would rather play for he said the Jets. He can't be all that intelligent lol

Well he would be a starter for the Jets...

Tho as the #3 for the giants he would still catch a lot more balls.

yea that makes sense, I still think we need a FAST receiver on the outside to replace Rio. Sanu is pretty good but he is kind of slow. Don't want Barden X2 that can't get separation in the pros

The bottom line is there not bringing in someone who there not interested in, why would they? I'm pretty sure they got better things to do then bring in guys they don't care about, and i'm also pretty sure there not just wasting prospects time, for no reason..

Reese is saying, they bring players in that they like, but want a closer look at, because of a few question marks they have, that they'd like to get answers about.... Thats what i think...

Clemson TE Dwayne Allen visits NYG for pre draft visit Dwayne ALlen is my guy at TE.. I liken him to a young Fred Davis, who would have a better QB as a pro(eli), and less off field issues.. Dwayne Allen is the truth...

Add TAHIR WHITEHEAD OLB TEMPLE to the list of players giants have had in... I've mocked him to us a couple times in the past, and hes your prototypical ultra active LB, whos first order of duty will be ST's, and if all goes well, works his way into the rotation.. Hes a WLB... Could be for backup behind Williams, with Boley moving to the middle..

So far, i gather we've had (major prospects, not super small ones), these guys in..

OMAR BOLDEN CB ARZ ST

TAHIR WHITEHEAD LB TEMPLE

DEVON WYLIE WR FRESNO ST.

DONTA HIGHTOWER LB ALABAMA

MUHHAMED SANU WR RUTGERS

DWAYNE ALLEN TE CLEMSON

I could of forgotten one or 2...

That is exactly what he is supposed to be doing! The only thing is, he dosen't mislead.. Of course, no matter how many guys u have in, the draft dictates if u even have a shot to draft the guy that u had in, but we've certainly picked our fair share of guys we've had in.. By all means, if we have em in, were interested.. No ones wasting eachothers time here..

Barden is way faster than Sanu at least going by their combine 40 times Barden ran almost as well as Nicks did. He really should be able to separate

The thing I like about Kirkpatrick is how physical he is. On a team like the Giants he could be used in a number of ways because he's so versatile. I could see Fewell using him at corner or even that 3rd safety role... He's big and physical enough to cover some of the bigger, faster TE's. In a scheme like the Giants I think he could be all over the place.

Not getting my hopes up but If he somehow fell to the Giants I'd be ecstatic....Don't expect him to but another guy who's versatile like that is Trumaine Johnson who I can see the Giants targeting later.

side note: haven't signed anyone we worked out
