Instead ofbeing a pompous, self-important *** all the time, why don't you learn how to read?

Did I say that Romo was fantastic? All I said was that he doesn't suck . . . . and that is simply a fact.

Thanks for pointing out that the picture includes SB winners . . . never would have noticed that if you didn't point it out. Must be great being the smartest guy on the MB!

No he doesnt suck at all, hes been amazing in the playoffs. You're right.

Romo is the greatest playoff QB of all time. He is almost unstoppable. When I think of "clutch QB" or "automatic winner", my mind jumps right to Romo. /red

In all seriousness... Romo is just terrible.

Romo is overall above average but he is hurt very badly by his reverse midas touch in critical situations.

Justifying Romo is like justifying the Jets. If I hear one more "the Jets made it to two consecutive championship games" I'm gonna barf. 'Getting there' means squat. No one remembers who came in second (or...third in the Jets case).

And as such, one can say, "wow, look at his numbers last year" You can tear up the field all you want during the regular season, but if your hiney is on the couch the first Sunday in February, don't even breath your name in the same sentence as Manning (both of them!), Brady, Brees and Rodgers.

Yeah, that goes for you too Mr. Flacco

I wouldn't say tony sucks. Hes definitely not great though. Mark sanchez in my opinion sucks. And he has more playoff wins than tony.

IF tony ever brings the boys' or any other team he might play for in the future to the superbowl then I will say he is a great QB.... Right now he is the king of chokedom and is one step above brady in that regard. That is All.

When I think of Tony Romo, I think we are blessed. He is good in compiling numbers which got him his nice contract with the Cowboys but he isn't so great as to be feared. We certainly have done very well against him. So, he ties up a bunch of dough in the Cowboys cap and delivers nothing in the playoffs. We could have a much stronger adversary in Dallas and so I consider us blessed. May he continue to compile stats for another 7-10 years.

Romo is good, but not good enough to carry a team.

I have to say Romo is at least better than Flacco and Big Ben is better than both

Eh, he doesn't really tie up that much money.

Not sure how much more dangerous the Cowboys could be as is. Of course we're rebuilding a bit so who knows how we'll look at the end of the season.

But Romo was pretty good last year outside of the one screw up in the Jets game and the Lions game. The problem last year was a lack of pass rush outside of number 94, poor pass coverage because of an aging newman and poor safety play, and ill timed injuries toward the end of the season.

I guess the reverse logic would then tell us that dilfer is great as is sanchez (second most road playoff wins). Sorry but playoff victories don't tell the whole story.

Romo has been a gunslinging qb his whole career and can certainly light a team up and throw a big pick (brett favre was very similar although we all know how he has performed in the clutch).

I am not saying romo is amazing - but sucks? dont agree.

That said Im really happy we have Eli and after his rookie year Im not sure anyone can say they weren't a tad worried.

My favorite is
"great article! People that will freak and say romo sucks didn't even fully read this! Eli's defense has been the reason for his success. If Tony was the Giants QB they would have 3 rings!"

"Well, I'm a Cowboys fan and I say, if you believe Tony's a better quarterback than Eli, go ahead. It's a free country. You can think whatever you want. Even if it's bat crap crazy."

+1...Couldn't agree more

Your playoff record alone doesn't mean ####....Sanchez is garbage and he has a pretty decent playoff record

It's just some people who feel it's their obligation as a Giants fan to think every other rival is worthless. As much as I absoultley hate the Cowboys (if you didn't notice my sig), I still think Romo is an above average QB, although I think he's the anti-clutch.

it is highly un fair to drag marino into this. he was a great and even though he never won a superbowl he did win playoff games.

that was a different era, there's so many rules now protecting these QB's and defensless players that Marino never had in his days playing.

i don't know much about marino's time in the nfl but in the short clips watching him i know he doesn't flinch under pressure, was accurate, tight spirals, great arm and semi mobile, "he's no vick but he can get out of the pocket for some yard gains if needed."

Romo looks good cause he dumps off to his running backs alot for big gains and he has jason witten to save his *** time and time again.

he can light up the baords all he wants in the regular season but its the post season that matters and Eli is in a elite group still playing that has won two superbowls, and with the right tools he can win one more before he retires.

**** romo he terribad
