He was. He owns a bar here in DFW and was quite active in running it... or at least he spent a lot of time there meeting and greeting. Was a really cool guy.

Oddly enough it's called Hat Tricks. A bar for local aspiring country music musicians. It's in Lewisville. Only been there a handful of times, but every time I went he was always there.
