then Eli, then Melo.New York is a baseball town first and a basketball town second.

For Eli to even be considered being King, he'd have to win two more Superbowl's, win league MVP three times, date every hot new actress, and have the personality of Joe Namath.

You think Melo has more clout in New York over Eli who has won two SB's?

Eli is primed to take over the King spot from DJ once he retires. Melo isn't nearly as loved in NY yet.

We've already seen the hate that Manning gets from this town. It's kinda hard to hate a guy when he's just won the SB. But you can be sure the next time Eli has a bad game, or Eli throws a bunch of picks, the pitchforks will be out and the "Goober" moniker will resurface.

People are fickle like that. And you'd have to see it to believe it.

Once Jeter retires it will be mainly Melo and Eli. Rex has lost favor. Mets are still in rebuilding mode, although David Wright is an icon. Yankees don't have an icon once Jeter leaves. IDK if u can consider the Nets a New York team. Hockey is not as popular as it should be.

Double this! Also, when thinking of Kings, one thinks of being on Top, and whos on top of everyone else in a pretty big category? MO!!! Guys the All Time Saves KING, and has serious, serious, serious clout in NY! Take it from someone who spent a ton of time on the Yankee MB over the past few yrs, MO is right up there with Derek Jeter and any other NY athlete...
