I think it's been a long time since we played Dallas twice in the first half of the season. And they've put the Eagles at the end of the schedule. This is a little shift what we've seen before.

he schedule really isn't quite as brutal as I thought it would be.

Playing 11 consecutive games against either divisional rivals or 2011 playoff teams is rough no matter how you slice it.

eh...I don't really look at it that way, the Redskins didn't make the playoffs in 2010 but they still swept us.....SF was an embarrasment in 2010 and they beat us in the reg. season last year

Every year teams change drastically. For all we know we could get destroyed by the Browns or Bucs next year and end up beating the Packers and Saints.

I think it's a pretty tough schedule

Actually wouldn't it be better to play them in December? Romo sucks in December.

Dude, I hate the Cowboys, but you can't question Romo's toughness. Did you see his hand when we played him last year. And didn't he also play last year a week after he had a collapsed lungand broken ribs.

I really liked the G-men playing the Cowgirls at the end of the season, it was so nice for them to be the team to knock them out of the play offs.Maybe they can do the same thing this year for the E-girls....

If the schedule is not as brutal as you thought you must really have a death wish for the Giants.

Correct it is not as brutle as last season in the sense we had like 5or 6 really TOUGH games in a row. This year its a harder schedule but not layed out quite as bad as the last one. Yes we have soem tough turnarounds early on with the sun then thur early... and we have 2 sets of back to back to back playoff teams on schedule. But overall i think its slighly better then last yrs the way its laid out

Yea. kinda odd we play them both in first half. Last yr and in other yrs we had them late and within 3-4 wk span.

FO

OKAY I am a HOMER to... but 14-2??? with that schedule. A little to generous IMO. Philly 28-0... Skins 44-6... We never sweep the NFC East. Just doesnt happen. also we will lose a few moreof those tougher games steelers, GB, Saints, Falcons. even Cinn can be tough. I am thinking more in the 10-6 to 11-5 range. still making the playoffs and again another SB Run.

I thought the NFL decided 2 years ago to move more divisional games to the end of the season in order to make them more meaningful, and to make more games in week 17 have actual playoff implications.

They were trying to avoid situations where teams can rest their players because the game means nothing for them.

It's not just that they are done with Dallas by week 8 but rather they actually have 4 of the 6 division games played by week 8. There are then the remaining two spread out between the 5 December games (Skins 1st week of December, Eagles last week of the season).

Me too. Like him getting us to play the opener of their new stadium. Look how that turned out, lol.
