With Maylock saying Wilson is a very explosive north-south, as opposed to lateral, runner... I can see good old Gilly, who loves calling these plays, salivating at the though of delayed handoffs to this kid. It makes a lot of sense, just gotta coach him up in pass blocking.
Another good weapon added to Eli's arsenal.

They said on ESPN he has a tendency to fumble..... I know Coughlin is probably the best coach to fix the problem....

he is explosive vertically, but spends an awful lot of time running east west in college. Lots of backfield dancing and he tries to bounce everything outside.
But that is a common trait in backs with excellent speed, Chris Johnson and Jamaal Charles and every other speed back I can think of did the same thing.
