CJs performance is a direct result of his holdout. He shouldn't be on this list anymore.

I mock Romo all of the time but he is a better player than #91. Tebow on the list this year and Eli being left of last proves that most of the players are morons.

just because everyone knows his name doesnt mean tebow belongs in the top 100

These lists are all pointless nonsense!
Our QB won his second SB MVP which makes him number 1 in the rational world!
Theres no way you can make anyone other than Eli number 1 in 2011, because it just doesn't make any sense.
How can any QB who DIDN'T win the SB be considered better than the one who did?
Thats the mountain top baby and our guy is standing at the top......end of discussion!

"Fun Fact" i guess

There are 7 Eagles on the top 100*

There are 7 Ravens on the top 100*

There are 7 49's on the top 100*

I will guess there are 7 Packers on the top 100 as well

This list should be fun :/

The fact that this list is comprised by having a few players fill out their top 20 lists shows that it has no validation.

Knowing that someone put Donald Penn (Josh Freeman...ahem) or John Kuhn on their list of top 20 players in the league further proves the stupidity of it.

Yeah, so Nicks is right next to John Kuhn and Tim Tebow?? Lol...the list just started and not only is it already horrible...but it's down right insulting.

lol Warren Sapp still can't make a case for a player without bringing up their career stats.

The top 100 players are all extremely close in talent and value to their teams when you think about it. When there are 2500 players in and out of the league on a yearly basis, to be the top 4% is incredible. Sure there have been head scratchers on the list, but to be top 100 means you are a top 3 player on your team or could be top 3 player on another team.

Is there a defensive lineman out there you'd take over JPP? I know there isn't in my mind. He single handedly won us 2 games last year almost. While I think Brees, Elite, Brady, and Ben are all close, I don't see another DL in JPP's league other than Suh and Ngata. If JPP has 2 more years like that, we are talking the highest paid defensive player ever. And I guarantee you that he will be worth every single penny.

Wait.. how is Peyton Manning No. 50 without playing a single game again???

So, is Derrell Revis that much better then JPP? Not trying to sound like a Jet hater, Revis is a great shutdown CB, but is JPP that much worse then him at 24 while Revis is at 5? I know its comparing apples to oranges, but this list does that. Maybe JPP needs another year (or better)like last to get ahead of Revis.

Dictated by the position.</p>

Pass rushers are just as valuable to a defense as corners are, position is irrelevant in this case
