I just read an article about this guy and it says he is a very talented player but I don't personally know anything about him, so I would like to hear some opinions from people who know. Is this guy any good, did we find another steal here...

Hey, no Jonas material. [;)]

BTW, what's the deal? Obiously, it's one big bias source, but is freakin' Wikipedia run by Cowboy fans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonas_Seawright)?

<blockquote>Seawright made the 53 man roster in 2006 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_New_York_Giants_season) for the New York Giants (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Giants) and played in nine games,<span>[</span>1<span>]</span> (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonas_Seawright#cite_note-0) but in 2007 the Giants, with many talented defensive lineman, made the decision to cut him.<span>[</span>2<span>]</span> (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonas_Seawright#cite_note-1)
Jonas Seawright earned a legion of nuthuggers on the Giants.com message
board. Fans expected him to make a major impact in the trenches. The
infamous thread 'The Legend of Jonas Seawright' is one of fond memories
for Giants.com message boarders.

</blockquote>That's some credible "encyclopedia" there.

Hahahaha what a bunch of maroons. That Jonas Seawright thing was a big running joke around here. It is sad when they take a joke and then try to portray it as fact to make us look dumb.

I remember when he was being recruited out of St. Peters. He is an amazing athlete. In facts he was rated the #1 athlete in the country his senior season. He did play as a true freshman on a team that I believe won the National title. He has skills. Maybe he just needed to grow up. If he did, he is worth taking a chance.

I read an article yesterday about him, I'll try to find it for you. Anyway the article was talking about how he is a huge talent but he got busted for marijuana and he couldn't shut his trap. He said he learned a lot about who he was and cried a lot after teams started passing on him. Sounded like he learned a hard lesson.

ok i found the article: http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/giants/post/_/id/14164/giants-waive-safety-jones-sign-hill

Hill, who starred at St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City, is a gifted 6-1 safety who has been surrounded by some controversy. He was undrafted last year after leaving Florida following his junior season as teams shied away from him in part because of off-the-field issues reportedly involving marijuana use and alleged controversial tweets on his Twitter account. He also has been arrested for driving with a suspended license.

“When I was in college, I was the No. 1 athlete coming out and then going straight to a team that won the national championship, that had the possibility to win another one, it was just rock star status basically,” Hill said last weekend at rookie camp. “My head got big and I did let my gifts get away and start acting like a fool, basically. So I did waste my talent in some aspects.”

“It’s been a hard time, many nights crying, many night just wondering, ‘When is this going to happen?’” he continued. “But people were like, ‘Look, you’re a good athlete. Just work on being a better person.’ And that’s something I needed to do. I needed to calm down and sit down, and that’s what I did.”

If anybody can perform the " Wizard of Oz " refurbishing it would be Tom C , Jerry Reese, and company.
I don`t know if I`m biased as a Giants fan, but it would seem to me this organization is the ABC `s Extreme Makeover edition for young football players. Whether it be phyical handicapps or character short - comings , each year we seem to take on a feel - good project of rebuilding a few good men. I guess pre-season is like coming home from Disney to marvel at the results.

Imagine both hill and that other udfa safety, janzen jackson i beleive i forget his name, he played for tenn. But then got kicked out or something...anyways imagine both those guys end up being serrious talented starters? From what ive read, both r extremely talented and athletic and have enormous potential, it was the mental n behavioral aspect that led them going undrafted...

I seriously believe at least one of these udfa safeties makes a big name for themselves...jr loves those athletic freaks tho dont he

Between Hill, Jackson and T Sash, we have a nice competition to look forward to this preseason. Like Jackson, I hope they can keep themselves focused on football and not outside temptations.

I fixed it. lol.

Here's what it reads now:
