The write up talked about how great his reg season record and stats are in his 4 seasons. However he is being judged solely on his playoff record which Is 0-3. Falcons feel he will get that first playoff win and a SB. They compared him to Peyton starting out 0-4 in playoff games.. The Piece talked about how throughly he was outplayed by Eli and the giants D in our playoff game last season. How they didn't score a point and only averaged about 4 yards a pass play...

Anyway the whole point of this thread (which I am sure you are all wondering by now) is that Ryan is going to go back to doing what he did when he first became a QB and that is study the best QBs on tape.. Hit the film room and watch............

You got it. Arron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Drew Bree's...

Eli never gets any respect.. Maybe Ryan should study the guy who has the most comeback wins in 4th quarter.. Maybe he should study a guy with the most road playoff wins seeing two of Ryan's losses in playoffs (and very bad performances) were on the Road.

Maybe just maybe he should study a guy who has bested Tom Brady twice in the SB and once in a thrilling come from behind win at NE where no had beat him in 20 gamea and where tom had not lost back to back games in forever. Maybe he should study a guy who beat Arron Rodgers 15-1 Packers..

Well. Might want to get it checked out, because you're totally having a conversation with yourself in this thread.

True. But I know how people on here HATE long drawn out posts in a thread. So I broke it up so it wouldn't be such a chore to read.

I know I sometimes start to read one and it's so long I lose interest...

I don't see the issue. Those guys are commonly referred to as the best at their position.

Part of me wants to say Eli's first SB mvp was Dilfericious. I honestly thought Strahan and Tuck deserved the mvp more than Eli did in 2007. But not on the second win; Eli definitely earned the title of elite fair and square after that playoff run. And now if he wins one more before Brady, he will be clearly ahead of Brady. The first tiebreaking factor that the NFL uses is head-to-head, and Eli has that wrapped up, being 2-0 against Brady in the super bowl, and 3-1 overall. It would be even more sweet if the 3rd lombardi came at the Pats expense again, but ANY lombardi from here on out will make Eli the better QB.

He is 2-0 vs Brady and 2-0 overall. He hasn't been in more then 2. How'd u get 3-1 overall unless I'm reading this wrong

Okay got it. The thrilling come from behind win 2011 that ended their sting of not getting beat back to back and Brady's 20 game home win streak. And the final game of 07 that was a loss but in all reality really a WIN

There's a reason why it always has been - they are the best at their position. Having "double the hardware" doesn't mean anything.

Ben Roethlisberger also has two rings - do you think that makes him as good as Eli? Heck, he's played in three Super Bowls - he must be better!

They won despite him in first SB in which he played horrible. Didn't play all that great in the other win until that game winning drive.

The giants were carried by Eli through a lot of the Wins in Playoffs in both 07 and 11. He was unreal getting pounded by SF after almost every play yet kept getting up and finally getting job done. They also don't win either SB without some of those key throws in made that we're perfectly placed and timed

Yes Brady, Rodgers and Bree's have better regular season stats. But in the end u count rings not regular season stats. Look at marino

I think Ben Roethlisberger is a great quarterback.

Oh sure. He's great at accosting college girls in a Men's Toilet. ( While His body guard blocks the only exit ) For a guy that would never even think of walking on to a football field without His helmet. He nearly got Himself killed while speeding on a motorcycle without one.

Watched him play in college and will admit was mad when giants passed over him draft Rivers and then trade for Eli. Looking back I'm glad I didn't get my wish. We got the best of the QBs drafted that season hands down
