In all seriousness, it is and/or should be.

They just fired their GM so they've basically replaced all the components except for Reid. Process of elimination.

The guy is 1-4 in NFC-Championship games, and 0-1 in Super Bowls.Yep losing all those NFCCGs in a row should of been enough to oust him...

He did come close in that 1 SB appearance going into 4th tied at 14 with the Pats. However NE went up 24-14 in that last quarter before Philly scored a late TD with under 2 minutes left.. But thanks to brady running out the remaining time on the clock we are still able to enjoy looking at pics of that empty trophy case. I will always have a token of gratitude to Brady for that.

Well, I guess there was a bit of a power struggle between Reid and Banner, so I don't think you can necessarily point to that as Reid being on the hot seat.

Reid's on the hot seat because despite much success in making the postseason, he hasn't been able to win the big one and he barely finished .500 with a team that was touted as having SB quality talent.

Quite the contrary, I think the organization faced a crucial fork in the road as McNabb's decline began and they had to break up this combo that while successful could not get over the hump. Do they fire Reid and give McNabb a shot with a new head coach, or do they ditch McNabb and let Reid try with somebody else. Reid won that power struggle.

Now a few scant years later he wins another one with the GM. Just as Reid was tied at the hip with McNabb since 1999 he was tied at the hip with Banner since 2001, and now that relationship has been nuked as well. Andy's running out of other people to blame, but somehow he holds on. I just think this is the last pinky hanging on to the cliff's edge.

He can blame Vick still and the media can say "he didn't live up to his contract he was given" Boom 3 more years with Reid lol

I think he's a great offensive coach, his had some very good teams that fell short in the early to mid 2000's.

As a Giants fan I hope he gets fired but not cause he's a bad coach. My simple reason is his teams has had the Giants #. The Giants have been routinely beatin by the Eagles for the last decade, the last time the Giants sweep the Eagles was 2006 (I think).

oh please, please Philthy, run him out of town. it only took the guy 2 seasons to become the team's kryptonite.

please, let him go somewhere like Oakland where he can never hurt us again

Nope. Although that streak from 2008-2010 was irritating as a Giant fan, Andy's record against the Giants since 1999 is 16-13, it's filled with streaks in both directions.

He is leaving streaks in both directions all over their franchise.

This might be why Reid has been in power past his time... if he can beat the Giants, keep him. Because that's all that filthy trash cares about.

Nice.

Andy should be on the hot seat. I don't understand why he isn't. Anyone else notice that the Eagles have put better and better teams on the field loaded with talent since 2009, yet they've finished with worse records each year?
