New York Giants (http://www.kffl.com/team/26/nfl/new-york-giants) LB Jacquian Williams (http://www.kffl.com/player/24628/nfl/jacquian-williams) could be in field at outside linebacker during passing downs this season because of his quickness and pass coverage. Williams would take over for LB Mathias Kiwanuka (http://www.kffl.com/player/13784/nfl/mathias-kiwanuka) in passing situation because Kiwanuka would move to defensive ends in those situations.

New York Giants (http://www.kffl.com/team/26/nfl/new-york-giants) LB Keith Rivers (http://www.kffl.com/player/18275/nfl/keith-rivers) could become the top candidate to compete with LB Chase Blackburn (http://www.kffl.com/player/12316/nfl/chase-blackburn) for the starting linebacker job if he is able to show he can play the position during training camp.

I am liking all these options- Adrian possibly could be that situational pass rusher that Tollefson provided us last year. Love Jacquian williams as the second LB with Boley in obvious passing downs- he is quick and can cover. Rivers if he can handle it would be great option- I feel very good about having Chase Blackburn as another option. He needs to be on this team- can always be special teams leader as well.

I also like the idea of Rivers in the Middle.. If Rivers is healthy, he has a chance to be really good, albeit, if he stays healthy... Also, there should be no question about using Jaquain Williams on certain downs and packages, because the guys full of talent, and can blitz, cover, and tackle.. I actually see him as our starting WLB for yrs to come down the line.. Mark Herzlich is another guy to watch out for.. I think hes gonna make a huge jump with the yr under his belt and being another yr recovered from cancer.. Hes very talented and long and instinctive, and i really think hes gonna be here awhile.. Watch out for this LB'ing unit, its got a nice collection of talents and diversity...

Adrien Tracy was a big sleeper of mind when he came out, and the guys motor is unreal, and hes got a great build, in the mold of a Cliff Avril, and i would not be surprised at all to see him make the team as a DE..

Rivers is a credible threat in the middle, and is younger than Blackburn if i recall correctly...

Jacquian is going to have a monster year, and may even be a starting linebacker by the end of the year.

Tracy seems to be Kiwi 2.0 in my book, and may even be used alongside Kiwi on passing downs if the situation calls for it. I for one am hoping that we get to see more blitzing packages, since that's what our defense is built for.
