I think it was in Lambeau or it might have been in NY where it was a low scoring game and Favre got a concussion. The next play he threw a touchdown pass after his concussion. I think you guys won the game. I think Kerry Collins was at quarterback. I think the Giants won 17-14. I think Barber was still playing for you guys.

I remember the game.... In fact, Farve was not supposed to go back in, but he did, threw the TD and they took his helmet away after the play.

It was Oct 2nd, 2004 Here's a short write-up:

Kurt Warner played that game. I'm almost positive.

Yea Kurt Warner played. Tiki Barber scored like a 52 yard td and I believe Shockey scored the other td for the Giants. I was surprised the Giants went in to Lambeau and won that day.

The Giants started out great that year but the second half of the season was brutal

I remember it. I remember the GB coach saying after the game that he didn't even know Farve was on the field when the play started. He just ran out there.

If Warner played the whole year we were a playoff team. The NFC was sooo weak that year outside of the iggles. I'm glad we let Manning work out most of his kinks that year though.

The craziest part of the whole thing is that William Joseph had a sack

I remember that game. My dad and I were in awe of Favre that day. You can say a lot of things about Favre but the first thing you need to say is the guy is tough. He got a lot of respect from me that day.

I remember our horrible backup coming into the game and he was just awful. I think we might have won the game if Favre played the entire game but you never know. If this game was in 2004 that was the year we finished 10-6 and lost in the wildcard round to the Vikings at home 31-17. We got thumped but our defense was even worse then this last year. Our offense was great that year but not quite as good as the 2011 Packers.

Favre was really bad in the 07 championship game. I do think Rodgers is the better quarterback his first four years then Brett was his first four years. We will see how Arod is the rest of his career.

Yea Favre was tough that's for sure. He got picked as the #1 Gunslinger by the NFL channel. They interviewed Fran Tarkington because he didn't even get in as a top 10. He all but cried the whole way thru the show as he was commenting and complaining on the other picks. It was amusing.

I'm pretty sure you meant the 2010 Packers.

Nope the 2011 Packers had a better offense then the 2010 Packers. What won it for us was our defense was solid throughout 2010.

Uh excuse me. The 2010 Packers went in as a wild card with a 9/7 record or 10/6 @ best. The 2011 Packers were 15-1 & had a terrific offense. The 2011 Giants mirrowed the 2010 Packers coming on late in the season & finsihing with 7/8 victories including the playoffs.

That was one of the best games that team played that year. Shouldn't have been as close, Steve Christie missed like 3 field goals that game.

It was also the game where Kurt Warner actually scrambled and had room to run, but QB hook slided at the one yard line and they spotted where he gave himself up at the 1, I think that was how they got their field goal that game. But it was a hilarious moment in not being aware of the rules and being afraid to dive into the endzone to score

Yeah, I remember that being a good close game.
