If you are having problems creating your avatar please follow these steps:

http://boards.giants.com/profile.php?do=editavatar

go to that page

then click on USE CUSTOM AVATAR and upload the photo using option 2

Try putting it in photobucket and bringing it over from there

Keep getting this message "This is not a valid image file" when trying to upload my old avatar from MSClip Organizer, which is not a photograph. Is the new avatar capability for photos only as I can uplod a photo?

Try saving the picture to your computer rather than using the URL because that URL stuff didn't work for me a few times.

Save it to the desktop and then upload it.
