Hope I got this right. I didn't see anyone else post it.

As you'd expect, Eli had a smile when he said this, and says all is good between he and Amani.

Class... we won't ever hear Eli criticize or compare team mates negatively once he retires.

Some athletes, ex and still playing, need to stfu and refrain from making comparisons to the press.

Yes... and why not? Wasn't Willie one of our all-time bests?
Willie and Ron Dayne... Giants to remember, forever

Eli on Boomer and Carton interview:

http://www.msg.com/videos/eli-manning-wfans-boomer-carton-on-msg-723.html (http://www.msg.com/videos/eli-manning-wfans-boomer-carton-on-msg-723.html)

Not the full interview (with the Toomer mention) but has some other things.

Eli seems bitter if this is a real quote. if someone asked him after he retires if he thought Jackson was a better rec than Toomer ,that would be fine with me. But this is just a insecure jab imo.

Crazy how we all see things differently. I thought Eli was having fun with it... not that he was bitter at all.

It's a real quote, but he followed it up by saying he was just kidding and having some fun with Toomer and letting him know there were no hard feelings. It was a joke.

Ike was never the same after Brian Dawkins speared him in the chest on a pass he had no chance of catching. Just another of many reasons to hate the Philadelphia Eagles.

read the article its says a few times it was a playful jab and that Eli knows how good Amani was as a Giants WR...

No surprisingly i agree with harooni on this. if it didn't bother him why make the comment at all? i think fans need to let go whether they are playing for us currently or are not, words are just that words. if he doesn't care he should of shrugged it off as just an opinion. and it might come off as a playful jab but you were not there to hear the comments yourself so you have to draw your own conclusions on the context of that comment, and not just ready what they want you to ready....

sigh* i sense an argument coming this ignore button is going to be put too use today.

He has one of the least muscular bodies I've ever seen in the NFL, even for a QB. Sometimes I wonder how he survives.

well probably from not being so muscular he is more flexible and perhaps his cool easy going persona helps keep his body loose during impacts.

49er playoff game was very impressive he took a beating.

For a guy with a 100million dollar contract, he couldn't do better than stealing archie's old brown duffle bag from the closet?

At least its not from some chick lable like Louis Vuitton. More and more of these metrosexuals walking the streets with luggage that looks like a handbag you would buy for your wife. Pathetic
