I miss that old *******, Jacobs said, laughing. I love [Niners coach Jim]
Harbaugh, but hes a different breed of coach. Tell that old ******* I miss
him.

I wish BJ was still here, but wish him nothing but the best in his new home.

As well he should.

I hope when he decides to hang them up he signs a one day deal with us so he can retire a Giant.

I'm sure the team would be open to that

I'd like to see that... BJ was a respected Giant and always gave his best on the field... he gave us many runs to remember.

Jacobs was my fav player on the roster, struggling with picking a new one. Love all our players, but, Jacobs always stood out for me.

To a lesser degree, add Steve Smith to that list. And Plax to an even lesser degree

I hated Jacobs slow feet but I always like him as a person. For him to get up in guys face and push players around says alot about the heart for his team. That guy would not let anyone on his team get a finger put on them without Jacobs puttin them on their @$$

Since you didn't, I won't either.

Edit the post and send a private message next time. You don't have to publicly chastise the OP for something as minor as that.

That is a reminder, not a chastisement, and it had nothing to do with the OP.

Always good to hear former players speak well of their previous team and or coach.

That is going to be a body bag game, no doubt about it.

Even though I was loudly yelling for him to be cut at times last year, I'm sure gonna miss the big guy. I always would rather he be on our sideline than someone else's, anyway.

Glad to see big old Jacobs expressing himself that way about his old coach and that's not the only thing he will miss this coming season. He's in a great team right now but he had the time of his life during his tenure in NY.

Selfishly, I hope he tries to shuffle his feet on tippie-toes that entire game. Going to hate to see TT or KP run over by him...

On the other hand, it will be interesting to see JPP trying to tackle him at the line...

I really wish that the niner game was at home for us. I feel pretty confident that if it was our fans would show him the respect that he deserves as a former Giant. I know that would mean a lot to him.

BJ is going to be sorely dissappointed that he checked out in 2011.
