2 notes: 1. Only guaranteed $ in Thomas' deal is $1m signing bonus. 2. It's believed nobody has come back + been effective after 3 ACLs #nyg (https://twitter.com/search/%23nyg)

I'm not sure... TT was only guaranteed $1 mill...

I guess it probably doesn't do much for this year

Edit: Except drive me to drink

You don't think they expected T2 to come back healthy?

Well, it gives Reese more room to sign Kenny Phillips, who, IMO, is a much more valuable asset than T2.

The contract speaks for itself, the Giants protected themselves while seeing if T2 would comeback

What does that have to do with anything?

I'd rather not dwell on what we can't control. He's out, let's move on... it sucks thinking about it as it is.

You have to put things into perspective sometimes.

I have a hard time believing they were going to pay him that money either way. If he was healthy they would of reworked it

more money for osi now? No. More money for Nicks or Cruz is much more likely.

Forget about coming back from a 3rd tear of the same ACL. Has there ever been a player who has torn the same ACL twice and been effective? Serious question. I don't recall ever hearing about a player coming back from tearing the same ACL twice.
