He was on NFL live going through the schedule game by game but he was one of the guys that had them missing the playoffs?

Sounds about right. I think 11 wins is max for the division winner. Should beat each other up as well as the AFC North.

He was on NFL live going through the schedule game by game but he was one of the guys that had them missing the playoffs? So we went 11-5 and swept the eagles and cowboys and didn't win the division? Does he have the Redskins doing better?

He was on NFL live going through the schedule game by game but he was one of the guys that had them missing the playoffs? If we sweep both the eagles and cowboys and go 11-5 it is virtually impossible to miss the playoffs, especially since I find it hard to believe the skins willl sweep the Giants again, especially with a rookie QB....How do we not go to the playoffs in this scenario?

I like the optimism toward our record but he shot down any sensibility by saying we'd miss the playoffs!

I like the optimism toward our record but he shot down any sensibility by saying we'd miss the playoffs!yeah that's what I was saying. The only way they would not make the playoffs in this scenario is if the redskins beat us for the division. Which is crazy. Either Schlereth should get fired for being a moron, or the original poster is hallucinating.

i think we are a 11-5 / 10-6 team, but as long as we sweep our division thats all i care about

if we go 11-5, but are 4-2 with two losses to skins, and skins go 11-5, we dont win the division. or if they go 12-4. im definately not saying this will happen. but i can see the analysts who dont actually watch the games or pay attention to the players involved who heard about the skins defense, heard about how great rg3 is believing this will happen.

am I missing something? We could sweep the boys and eagles and finish 8 & 8 and miss the playoffs, no?

i know im a homer and all, but i expect the team we saw the final 6 games to appear all season and we win 12 AT LEAST. winning the SB showed the players what is required to succeed at the highest levels. they know what they have to do day in day out. i expect big things from thist eam i really do. with eli leading the offense and tuck/jpp leading the d, i see at least 12 wins

Just Like when a analyst says we will for 6-10, I will say the same about the guy who says we will go 11-5.....

It means nothing
