Yeah...I still think he'll be a nice player. No mini camps...no traning camps....no preseason....broken foot. This guy needs an off season

A lot of rookie CB's with no mini camps or training camps do.

Prince could very well end up as a great defender.

The guy Peterson from the Cardinals is having his share if issues this season too and he was the 1st CB taken in the draft and he has ha the benefit of pre season.

I knew this would happen if he struggled some. People will now be saying he is a bust and Reese doesn't know what he is doing. First, let the kid get a little more playing time before we rule him a bust. Second, as far as Reese knowing the draft, JPP.

Can't see how anyone can evaluate the DBs when Fewell continues to put these players in bad schemes. Prince will be fine once Fewell is gone.

I'd have to say playing as a rookie CB is probably one of the toughest things to do currently in the NFL. So many adjustments in the style of your play you need to change from college, more complex schemes to learn, and more talented receivers to deal with at the NFL level.

I don't think the jury will be out on Prince at all this year unless he has some phenomenal game with 3 picks and completely shuts down some elite WR.

True. Read it a few times last night though and I guess it carried over.

Honestly what did everyone expect? No CB comes in and dominates immediately. Prince has little to no practice time, he's recovering from a broken foot and the most important fact is this: HE'S A ROOKIE.

We have 6 year vets with 2 years of practice time who apparently can't figure out Fewell's coverage schemes. What chance does Prince have?

He's a rookie, he needs time to learn, this is baptism by fire for him. Lighten up.

He had NO help in the Safety position all night!!! ZERO...Fewell sucks with his scheme..and this kid was loaded onto premier receivers all alone.....Ross the "veteran" looked more like a rookie than Prince,,Nah can't blame Prince.

He can make up ground quickly, as we've seen. For me, seeing him knock the ball out of the Packer's receiver's hands that SHOULD HAVE negated a TD is all I need to know for now. He has skills and he has to get used to the speed of the NFL game.

No, that's my point. Everyone was blowing coverages last night, of course the rookie who has little practice time is going to. I'm not worried about him.

Sorry, meant to say 2 man under. Rolle jumped the crossing route. He was supposed to have help

He had an awful game and has really showed anything too special when he has returned from the injury.

With that being said, I expected this season to be a wash for him. You do not expect much from a rookie CB that had no real team offseason (camps etc), preseason and then an injury that didn let him play till the 2nd half of the season.

We wont know what we have with prince until the end of next season at the VERY earliest. Even then CB's need 2-3 full seasons to make the NFL transition.

our 1st round rookie CB who missed most of the season w/ a broken foot, w/o ever having experienced a team offseason/preseason is the least of my worries when it comes to our defense.

Only players that DONT worry me on D are Boley/JPP/KP/Prince/arguably Linval Joseph

Prince's biggest problem is his name .... everything else is correctable at this point.

For a defense riddled with injuries, we have to get used to them not carrying the team, it's just the way it is. Eli and the offense have to step up and outscore the remaining three teams and I'm confident they will.

He had a bad game last night. Give the kid some time, i am still hopeful he will be good. He has the speed. The game will slow down for him once the mental part of the game catches up with him. I am however, really worried about the failure to stop the run. That could kill us if the guys don't step it up.

Fewell played a lot of cover 2 last night which is easy to pick apart you have the weapons Dallas has.....

while running that defense its easy to make players look bad when they indeed were simply carrying out their assignment....

there were a couple plays that more the fault of Deon Grant but looked like a mistake made by Prince or Webster .....

although Prince did get beat while manned up on Robinson

the kid will be fine....

Prince could very well end up as a great defender.
I was waiting for him to have a come down to reality game. It was going way to well for a rookie cb coming off an injury with no regular season experience. He could be a great one in the future for this team. He sure has the speed.

I am not sure why everyone here had such high expectations for him especially coming in to the game right after an injury with no time to prepare. Can't judge him yet. CB is a tough position and even the best get burned at times. Next year, we will have a better idea of what he can do.

My question is where are all the TT haters now?....The guy was a leader of a top 10 defense yet never got the credit....Without him the defense has been absolute garbage with the secondary being perhaps the worst in the NFL.

Lol, there were alot of clowns on this board who thought the Prince would take his starting spot as a rookie. Prince can't even unseat Ross who is beyond garbage

Theres no doubt T2 and Webster are our 2 best corners but T2 used to get burned as s##t a ton of times as well.

And how can you say "Without him the defense has been absolute garbage" when we're also missing Goff who was one of the most important components of our D? We're playing with a whole bunch of no names at LB as well as CB and most recently with Grant back there instead of KP....And Fewel's 3 man rushes don't seem to help either....there are far too many problems to just blame it all on the absence of T2 imho

Exactly. It's so hard to play defense in general especially in the defensive backfield thanks to all the dumbass rules that help the offense. Also it's not like he was playing against chumps. Dez Bryant, Miles Austin, and Robinson are all good WRs.

There is no denying he has talent. Let's give him an offseason and see how he does next year.

Prince along with the entire secondary had a tough game, why you say, no pressure on the QB for 5 weeks now, unless that is addressed Eli will have to be superman to win out.

Rookie CB's always gets torched. Even Patrick Peterson has gotten owned at times. He needs an offseason. No way you could expect Prince to be a playmaker consistently. That being said, it is hard for any corner to cover a wr for a long time without a constistent pass rush.

Most seem to think Prince needs an off season to develop.I am telling all that this kid is going to make a major impact this year.Over the next 3 games which is a long time in a football season just watch as Prince goes to work.He is going to pick the sanchize. The jestors are going to wish they never heard the word "Prince"

he'd have to be superhuman not to struggle. He had no offseason, no camp, missed half a season through injury, of course he's gonna struggle. He'll be good next year gotta give the kid time to develop and take his lumps and become a better player.
