Want to get on record before the season starts with some predictions. Baring something very strange these should come pass.
Let me start by repeating some previous predicitions I made before the start of camp.
1) T2 and Hixon would be non-factors this season. In T2s case I actually predicted he'd injure himself again in camp. Hixon still has a shot to prove me wrong.
2) David Diehl will be a nightmare if he plays RT. Though I want to amend this prediciton to state Diehl poor play in the run game could be masked by Wilson's quicks.
3) Week 6 Give or take 2 weeks several Talking heads at NFL net and ESPN will begin stating that Eli Manning is "PLAYING" the best football of any QB in the league.
4) Speaking of Eli Lets get into his 2012 stat line. Its should look something like this 4,450 yards, 32 TD 13 INTs. 12 or 13 Wins. This will result in my 5th prediciton.
5) Eli Manning takes down his first League MVP. There will be guys with gaudier numbers but they'll have less wins against weaker schedules.
6) I Think the Mayans were actually predictiing Strahan's sack record going down in 2012. JPP crushes it with 28 sacks this season.
Side note: Victor Cruz better be signed by Christmas.
