I'm not sure if its because I'm a biased Giants fans, but there were several occasions I was screaming for holding penalties on the Cowboys offense. Not sure if it was because I was drunk, but I thought the refs let a lot of blatant holding go.

Both Offensive lines were holding all night.

noticed a lot of holding against our wr's, but as for the o-line, both teams were doing quite a bit :P

Nothing new, Our D-line gets held all game long, all year long. Rarely called.

I saw our WR's getting held so badly. It's whatever, what's done is done. We'll be fine.

I must be the minority.
I thought the refs did a decent job all said and done.
Its not like the real refs always got the calls right.

The refs werent nearly as horrible as i thought they would be. That being said it was opening night and that was probably the best crew they had

Ware was getting mugged all night, but so was JPP and Kiwi.

The refs called far more penalties vs the Cowboys than the Giants. Time to stop making excuses.

on 2 of dallas's big plays, 1 of which was a td (both mighta been td plays IIRC), it was 100% D.O.G. watch the replay, ive done so a dozen times bc that caught my attention. hikes the ball with 00 playclock. Also, on the Ogeltree double move TD, the dallas OL had like 2 or 3 guys move early BLATANTLY and no call eh

We all were screaming at the holding. Even Cowboys fans.

Excerpt: "At least, as he dressed after this lousy24-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboysstarted the Giants’ title defense with a big thud tonight, linebacker Mathias Kiwanuka managed to hold onto his sense of humor.
Get it?Hold on."I haven’t been held this much since I was a baby," Kiwanuka said, and he wasn’t able to hold back a smile, because in so many ways, the refereeing from the replacement officials was downright silly. The Giants were held, clawed and mugged. There were times when it appeared the entire Cowboys offensive line had hugged Jason Pierre-Paul so often it felt like they were on the receiving line at his wedding."

They missed about 30 holding calls for every snap. The amount of holding that went on in that game from both sides was more than I have ever seen.

Once someone like the Packers or Patriots get screwed on no calls, the real refs will be back or every game is going to turn into a holdfest like that.
