AB will get the start..I expect them to split carries the way it was with Jacobs....Mixed with a few snaps from Wilson.

Quality problems!

Even if Bradshaw is healthy, Andre Brown hands down.

Andre Brown has such great patience and vision and just runs so much harder than Bradshaw. Brown made many plays with patience last night and wait for a hole in a situation, while Bradshaw wouldve just ran for 2 yards without much gains. I know Bradshaw will continue to start, but Brown should get more carries moving forward.

I would imagine an even distribution of carries to work Bradshaw slowly back in.

I'll tell you what though, the NYG RB situation is now a legit fantasy nightmare...But that's great for our team in reality

you never bench a player who is hot and right now Brown is the hot RB for the Giants, the team will most likely talk to AB and convince him his neck isn't game ready yet and that will push this decision back another week...

personally i dont think it matters who starts between the two ABs. with Browns emergence he will undoubtly have as many carries as Bradshaw!

this is gonna be a good problem to have between these guys! and dont forget Wilson. he'll be in the mix soon.

seasoned vets should understand this,A Brown is ballin and he should get the start, with his style of running he would only wear down the D and that in turn can only help Bradshaw in his runs,or lack there of.imho anyway.

actually I think this situation with Brown and AB being the 1 and 2 RB will help Wilson develop much better, he obviously isn't as pro ready as was thought and now there is no need to rush him...

I see a Bradshaw/Jacobs type split between the two.

But honestly the O-line has looked so much better the last two games...I'm wondering how AB would have done if he had some of those holes.

exactly! Wilson can take his time, make good use of his opportunities and before we know it we have a 3 headed monster at running back!

Didn't even realize till just now when you said it. Lol. They have the same initials. AB has always been bradshaw. It just goes without saying. Now there's another worthy of the initials..... Can I get an AB2

Are we just assuming Bradshaw will be recovered?

No question its Bradshaw....the Eagles aren't the sorry Panthers.

They will both get snaps and who gets more will depend on who's doing a better job. I'd like to see Bradshaw behind the "new" OLine to see if the OLine has been the main reason the running game has been so anemic.

I guess they must be, but neck injuries can be tricky as Tuck and Kiwi can attest.

I think AB is officially on the trade block. Hey Jets, want AB for a 3rd round pick?

I don't think Bradshaw is a feature back, I think it's best for him and the team if Brown gets 70% of the carries and the other 30% for Bradshaw/Wilson

ShakeandBake

It all depends on Bradshaw's health really. If he's 100% I'd expect carries to be split 50/50. I don't think Bradshaw will be 100% though, so I expect another large dose of Brown.

Lets not get crazy here, Car was 28th in run defense.
Not saying Brown is not a great player, but that does not mean he will be anywhere near that good against philly.

Does anyone even know Bradshaw's diagnosis?

giantsfan420
09-21-2012, 07:23 PM
sprained neck.

and i am of the opinion bradshaw is best used when he is the backup who gets starter carries. he was most effective when BJ was tearing up d's bc then he'd come in and completely change the pace up and excel.
with his constant feet issues, it may make the most sense to give brown the workhorse carries and bradshaw the 10-15 carries like when we get to the redzone or in hurry up situations etc...we can find enough carries for both

Doesn't matter who starts, I personnally think TC will put Bradshaw on the field first. The one who's being the most effective should get the lions share of the carries. If one isn't producing, he should be on the sideline and only be used to give the other a break.

I think Bradshaw will try to hit the line fast, with less cutbacks. If he does that he might keep his playing time up. If he starts doing his cutback routine, he might see a lot more of the game from the sideline.

No need to rush Ahmad back. Unless Brown stinks up the joint.

Bradshaw. The Eagles have a formidable pass rush and TC will want Bradshaw's experience and skills @ picking up rushers/blitzers.

I will be very disappointed if Ahmad Bradshaw, when he returns, start over Andre Brown. Brown is clearly the best RB on the giants right now. So if Ahmad Bradshaw start and is getting stuff at the one yard line and the Giants running game is still among the worst again continuing from last season, Blame TC, and you know I will live up to my name doing it LOL. Too much loyalty is never a good thing. Stick to what's working best, and starting DD at tackle when he return is also not a very smart Idea. Lets see what TC does.

this is a GOOD problem to have ... i know many want to make this drama and to throw dirt on Bradshaw after Week 3, but the more quality players you have the better team you are ...

my take is that Bradshaw will not be 100% upon his return, which will open the door for Brown to start again vs. the Eagles

what works for Bradshaw long term is his pass protection and his experience

what works for Brown is his younger, fresher legs

the reality is that Brown emerging is way more bad news for Wilson than it is for Bradshaw

my guess is that we will use the HOT HAND approach ... as we know, starting doesnt mean you will get the most snaps

Easy... the guy who just rushed for over 100 yards and is helping energize the team. He came in against Tampa and our tempo picked up as well. I'm all about progression and winning and I'm sure TC is too so hopefully Brown is his choice.

Might see Brown in the draw because of the pass rush.
