Your thread title originally read

"Time Warner to offer NFL Network & Sunday Ticket"

I changed it to avoid confusion, but I swear that is what you typed.

Ya, and they're charging extra for it. It'll cost me $72/yr to watch one Giants game on TV; because I'm not going to stay up any other Thursday night ust to watch football. It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't also commercials invovled that the NFL is collecting on too. The NFL and Tome Warner get their money, and once again the fans get screwed. I think I'll just stream it on my computer, and be happy with that.

No harm done. I'm really not making it up. I wouldn't have said a word about it if it was correct. Believe me, I'm just as excited about the news, because I haven't had NFL Network myself.

It's a great network I had DTV for a year but I moved and stuck with TWC...don't know if its worth $72 a year like the dude above mentioned. I'm already shelling out $300 for the Sunday Ticket on my PS3...I'm not willing to so both if that's the case.

NFL Network is included in your basic digital package. Red Zone is part of the TWC Sports Pass at $6 per month so that is where the $72 is coming from. You will get NFL Net at no extra cost to the customer.

Thanks for clearing that up, Red Zone is included in my PS3 Sunday Ticket package so I'll stick with that until next year.

Red Zone is pretty great for days like tomorrow when the Giants aren't playing.

Exactly! I kinda enjoy when they don't play on Sunday...football is so much more enjoyable without the anxiety lol.

Yes, I stand corrected. You must have digital cable to get NFL Network; but it is part of the standard digital package. So, some people still won't have access to it' but most will.

Red ZOne is $5.95/mo extra.

Ya, it is! Watching a segment called "NFL's worst collapses". It's awesome. The 78' Skins were ranked at # 6 worst collapse. Start 6-0 & did not make the playoffs..finished 8-8!

Good Gawd, 87' Chargers were 8-1 & missed the playoffs! #5 collapse! #4 collapse -2003 Vikes were 6-0 & avg 30+ pts a game & ended up missing the playoffs while losing to four 4-12 teams in the 2nd half! #3 collapse,,,09' Broncos. started 6-0, finished 8-8!

This makes me appreciate our last 2 SB yrs cuz we started off 0-2 in 07 & were 7-7 going into week 15 last yr & everyone wrote us off both yrs & our team showed the heart of a champion with a never say die attitude & had the last laugh.

Remember my fellow Giants fans, truer words were never spoken, it's not how you start, it's how you finish!

#2 collapse of all time, 1994 Eagles! Rich Kotite was the HC, they started 7-2...didn't make the playoffs, Lol! To sum up what a braniac Kotie was..in a late season game vs our G-men, they were up 13-3 late in the game & he replaced Randall Cunningham with Bubby Brister & he proceeds to throw a pick & we end up winning 14-13!

#1 collapse of all time...93' Dolphins..started 9-2..last game they won was the Turkey day Leon Lett game., then proceeded to lose 4 straight & still had a chance to win the AFCE title in the final game, but lost to NE to finish 9-7 & out of the playoffs!

In a way, this makes me fear a 7-2 or 8-1 Giants start. Our team always plays better when the stakes are high & everyone has counted them out. I wouldn't be freaking out should we be 4-4 or 5-5 after 8-10 weeks. Titles are won in Dec, not Sept/Oct/Nov. We just need to be going into Dec with a great shot at a playoff spot & get an invite to the dance. I guarantee you, the Giants are the one team no other NFC team wants to face in the post season!
