View Full Version : Everyone agree Webster this year is mediocre at best? And that's if we're lucky

I have noticed that Webster seems to be nowhere near the receiver on most plays this year. In the past I recognized that Webster wasn't a shut down corner but he did a good job making up for it by taking good angles and tackling well. This year I feel like he's just not getting it done. He continuously gets picked on and burned and always seems to give his guy either too much room short or lets his guy burn him deep. Not sure if he's just getting lazy or can't adjust to Fewell's system.

Well at least we know where they are goings get money to pay for some of their FA's next year.

Webster has been nothing short of a revolving door this year.

Heck even Prince is schooling him right now.

Jackson made him look old and slow on a couple plays out there

Prince shut down Maclin all game. Webster got burned big time.

We need Hosley to get healthy again. The last time Hosley and Prince were on the field together, our linebackers could tee off on the QB while still containing and we held carolina to 7 points.

we need to draft all defensive players next year

He's been exposed with the nonexistent pass rush.

Agreed, Prince looked pretty solid. Was very happy to see him going stride for stride with Desean on a couple of plays. We definitely need to draft a corner to replace Webster. He looks like he's trying not to get burned but still is, pretty sad state.

Maclin wasn't exactly 100% and you could tell.
