If Kenny Phillips is going to be out for a while, I think the Giants may want to consider Grant as an option to bring back. The secondary has not looked good and he is a veteran that you always heard was a leader on the field. Maybe this could be a short term solution until Phillips comes back, or even after he came back use Grant the way they did last year.

Phillips has the range to play deep middle and get to either sideline. Grant and Sash dont. Which is why neither will be playing KPs position anytime soon.

Stevie Brown, on the other hand, does have that kind of range, if not KPs instincts and open field tackling ability.

Not the Grant thread again.... Loved Grant while he was here, just don't think he is really what we need to step up for KP, doesn't have the speed.

You think Stevie Brown gets the Nod over Will Hill?

giants have already said he is starting.

Hill is playing that position Grant used to play, hybrid S/LB/slot CB.

Yeah I just saw that they announced he(Brown) was. It's hard to keep up with all of our injuries as of late.

steve brown does NOT have KP's range at all. u can see clear as night in one of the plays vs philly last week. he may be able to match KP in run support and playing in th ebox

He doesnt have KP instincts, he does have his range. It takes him longer than KP to diagnose plays and break on them, but once he decides where he wants to be, he probably is the fastest safety the giants have had in some time.

We're fortunate to have to play the Browns this week, to see how Brown works the backside instead of having someone like: Rogers, Brees or Brady! Or Eli for that matter!!! Go Giants!
