Ahmad Bradshaw will slip down the depthchart in 2012

I mentioned this in the spring and everyone had a coronary!

I expect him to become a 3rd down back and end zone specialist which will keep his legs fresh for the post-season (provided we make it)...He does not have the burst, as I mentioned before and we are seeing that. I like Brown, and I want Wilson to get more touches and especiallyget his confidence up against teams like Cleveland. Not to take any game too lightly, but we can still win and thats what it is all about. We dont have to crush Cleveland just beat them and get these rookies some valuable experience. If he fumbles just tell him to shake it off and get back out there on the next possession. Benching him on a fumble just makes him more nervous next time.

Randle needs more time too so I am happy to see Barden won't suit up but only for that reason. This a good team to get these guys out against. Nothing should change about the Oline and Dline

Aren't we a little hasty calling Jernigan a bust! I think we'll see him a few times this week and I would love to see him bust a big one!

Bradshaw certainly hasn't played up to what we have all come to expect, and I am all for giving some other guys a chance to show what they have. That doesn't mean you give up on the veterans and start relying on your rookies to win games for you. Usually teams that do that have given up on the season and the Giants are far from being in a position like that.

Your point is well taken however, getting more playing time to some of the younger guys can only help later in this season, and even more next year, assuming they are up to the challenge. Playing the Browns this week does give them a unique opportunity to play these guys with the consequences being less likely to result in a loss, but take that too far and the result very well could be a major blunder and result in a huge blow to confidence and moral rather than improving it. The offense has not been very good early in games, but has been among the best in the league overall, tweaking it and mixing in players is always good, but major overhauls don't make sense when, for the most part, the offense has been good.

I guess the Giants are going to play down to their competition today as usual, so we will need the best men up instead of seeing what backups can do....way to get the momentum going in the wrong direction Bradshaw!
