no, they're just fed up of sub-par teams for many years now. I think they're similar to the Browns fandom.

Outside of Josh Freeman, Cassel is the worst QB in the league but since he plays in KC and not a big east coast market, nobody notices.

Eric Winston does make good points from the perspective of a player. There's just two side to this which he acknowledges. Yes, the KC fans were fed up paying to watch a sub-par QB for so long and lose a game like that. However, for the hometown crowd to continue to cheer for the fact that their own QB got KOed and receiving medical attention isn't acceptable on any level.
