Excerpt: "In a rematch of last year's nailbiter of an NFC championship game, the New York (http://www.giants101.com/tag/new-york/) Giants go into San Francisco (http://www.giants101.com/tag/san-francisco/) on Sunday looking to improve to 4-2 on the season and stay in the mix for the top of the NFC East division.

The Giants have felt a little slighted this week, feeling as though they've been painted as a substantially inferior team to the 49ers after beating them in the NFC championship last season. Some 49ers players have came out and said the Giants didn't really win that game and that they lost it, and you can be sure Tom Coughlin made sure every one on this New York (http://www.giants101.com/tag/new-york/) football team is aware of that.

GAMEPLAN

Spread it out offensively, take 49ers linebackers off the field and get aggressive with the passing attack

The 49ers have one of the best defenses in the National Football League; that is clear to anyone who has watched the game over the past season and change. That being said, they do not have the defensive backs to consistently match up with Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz (http://www.giants101.com/tag/victor-cruz/), Domenik Hixon (http://www.giants101.com/tag/domenik-hixon/) (who is quietly having a fantastic year coming off another ACL injury), and Martellus Bennett (http://www.giants101.com/tag/martellus-bennett/). Very few teams do. On a sloppy, rainy day in San Francisco (http://www.giants101.com/tag/san-francisco/) last season in the NFC Championship, New York (http://www.giants101.com/tag/new-york/) found plenty of success with its option based passing attack. Until the 49ers prove they can contain Eli Manning and these wideouts, this is where the Giants should look to attack. It could certainly open up running space for the Giants backfield as well should they find success early moving the chains through the air." Read more...

Good read. Hope Nicks is back this week, even if limited. I like his prediction on JPP but I think this week Tuck makes us realize why he is the D captain. That front 7 need a huge game this week.

Lets go big BLUE!
