Didn't even realize this during the game cause I was so nervous.

*The 49ers never snapped the ball inside the Giants’ 20-yard line, the first opponent kept out of the red zone since Washington on Dec. 5, 2010.

Interesting stat. Curious how many teams this happens to in a year throughout the league.

If someone had told me prior to the game that the Niners would not reach the RedZone all day in their own Stadium I would of asked what you were smoking. Lol. Hard to imagine doing that to a team that had over 600 yards of offense (300 on both offense& defense) the prior week and had outscored last to opponents 79-3

Info came from inside the numbers.. Lots of interesting facts in there. You guys should check it out. Like the giants are tied with NE for the most trips inside opponents 20 yard line...29 trips and have scored on 27 of them. 14FGs and 13TDs

We need to turn more of those FGs into touchdowns though

Agreed! Less than 50%! That needs to improve. I have nothing to compare it to, but I just seems bad. I would like to see the red zone stats of some of the more dominant offenses of the past 10 years. Such as the Pats, Packers, and Saints.

Hopefully with our improved O-line and running game this will improve. Oh, and give up on the corner end zone fade. Plax is gone.

I think with Brown coming back, Wilson being more trusted, and Bradshaw. We might even see us pounding it in a lot more.

Great. Makes sense when you think about it, though. 2 missed field goals, 2 interceptions and the Giants ran the ball for almost 8 minutes in the 4th quarter. Nice job.

That is amazing. Heard the niners broadcast say it on nfl replay. We need to get more effective in the redzone on offense though. Baeden and Eli should practice fades throughout the week. Cruz slants in the slot and double moves to the corner when lined up outside like vs Cleveland. Nicks curls/fades. Hixon slants and curls. Bennett block and release flat routes. Bradshaw/brown/wilson screens. As well as play action mixings and draws. No reason for this offense to stall the way it does.

The 9ers offense is bad when it has to play from behind. It's built on the defense being dominant.

yes, but they also never failed to score a TD in the red zone vs. us ;)

but all kidding aside, good stuff ... the D really did great ... played at their late last season level ... Smith may be a game manager, but they've been hanging 40s on people, so hats off the the D !

We need to turn more of those FGs into touchdowns thoughWe're still one of the highest scoring offenses in the league, either 2nd or 3rd at this point I believe.

They put up 3 points.....3 friggin points.

I don't think people are getting a good grasp of how huge that is.
