Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Wilson touched the ball today apart from kick returns. Kinda shocked he didn't get any snaps

yes i agree, i was going to mention this , i wonder if his interview where he said he was a HOF rb had anything to do with it

Clearly he has not shown he can pass protect yet.

I think they would have used him if they had more control of the game. It was close and maybe they don't trust the rookie yet with the ball.

Give it some time, im thinking TC doesnt care for birth control much. hehe but really he will see more action soon.

Probably because Andre Brown, the 2nd RB on the depth chart, was active and got some snaps in the game. I guess there weren't enough running plays left for Wilson to be in.

I will keep my signature until wilson gets more involved in the offence.

I thought that Wilson would have gotten a couple of carries, but Coughlin is being careful and choosing the right situations to put Wilson in at RB.

Don't read too much into it, he's the third back in rotation and we have rarely used all three since Ward left.

Don't read too much into it, he's the third back in rotation and we have rarely used all three since Ward left.Even when he was here they didn't use Bradshaw all that much. You need to have a big lead or unfortunately an injury to find carries for the 3rd RB.

They really didn't run the ball at all today, 12 carries for Bradshaw, and 5 for Brown. They pretty much abandoned the run for some reason.

I think TC is more apt to call his number when the giants are ahead or in control. In a close game where 0-3 in the division was at stake a costly turnover might not have been worth risking for Tom today.

Someone started a thread saying he'd have a breakout day with over 80 yards rushing. I said if he did he'd have to do it with 2 or 3 touches cause with the two ABs he'd hardly see the ball. Well he didn't even get the 2/3 I was thinking.

Why would you expect to see him in when we only ran the ball like 6 times. I think we were like 5 wide the entire game.

I bet TC is saving him for later in the season as a secret weapon. Although I see the holes that open up for Bradshaw and it almost makes me shed a tear. I still love ya Gladshaw! ;)

I think his HOF talk is part of the reason why he didn't get one touch on offense also.

Bradshaw was on freaking fire today... he was more pumped than anyone else on the team. Had KG called more run plays he probably would have broken a big one eventually.

Im kinda shocked he stunk at the returns today.

And he's third on the depth chart; he will get more plays when somebody goes down or when he earns them.

This guy is young and fast, when will they start playing him? when he's old and slow?

I'm okay with it. I'm sure that TC his staff that Wilson needs more time based on what they see in practice.

We've got Bradshaw and Brown. Let Wilson continue to do his thing on ST and get some carries here and there.

I think that we're going to see more of him in the 2nd half of the year to change things up a little more. Maybe play him more against our divisional rivals the 2nd time around when we play each of them.

Bradshaw was running the sidelines today and decided not to put him in ;)

He's not out there for a reason. One that comes to mind is the fumble in the opener. He is also playing for TC, a guy who doesn't just hand anyone anything. He may have been the 1st round pick, but TC and the staff just judge what they see on the field. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he sucks on pass protection.

I could of sworn the fumble was weeks ago, and he's gotten playing time since, including a 54 yard td run, and some great returns... Must have been my imagination

he played when Brown was out for the game 1/2 or so

i do want us to install a package for him ...he's a weapon

but all good problems to have ... i'd rather have too many weapons and not enough balls to go around, than too few

OK...well, then TC just doesn't like him and he's letting his personal feelings overrule his good judgement. Would that be your take?

he's out of the dog house, i agree ... it's simply a depth chart thing right now and as always with rooks, blitz pickup, but i have no doubt there's going to be a week soon where he gets a bunch of carries

just go back to Bradshaw's 1st year ... i think it was like Week 13 vs. Buffalo ... breaks a huge one and never looked back after that

It made perfect sense to abandon the run. The Giants were down by whoping deficits of 3 and 4 points at most and Eli started the game and seemed off early.

Oh wait...

Maybe when I said that they judge what they see on the field I should clarify myself. What I meant was maybe they were seeing something in practice that we aren't seeing. I don't think it is just the fumble.

It is also very possible that his comments this week got him back in TC's doghouse and TC said "ok, this week you are only returning kicks".

His comments were very stupid especially coming from a guy with such a small sample of carries. We all know TC doesn't like that crap, probably more so than any other coach in the league.

Just a thought,..

It was a 40yd run.

I'm sure the issue with Wilson right now is pass protection, as it seems that when Wilson does get in the game he usually gets the ball (can't find the link right now, but I remember seeing that of the 18 plays he's been on the field for this season he's either carried the ball or been targeted in the passing game on 12 of them). That makes me think that the coaching staff is moving him along slowly as he learns the nuances of what it takes to be a successful NFL running back.

seems like they like to give the ball to WIlson in the 4th quarter when teams are worn down a bit. Its really a brilliant strategy, he must seem like a straight up mack daddy blur to them guys!!

What Ticked me off was, Randle playing "traffic cop" on kick-offs . Any time he touches ball clean he could go all the way !!!!! Also when he did run out of endzone , Randle never blocked anybody . Put Brown back there , I know he will hit somebody !!!!

browns coming off a concussion bro-ski!! i know he hits like a macky daddy. But you think its smart for him to take those types of hits on the KO team!?!?!?!
