It's really amazing that we may end up being 6-2 once again by the time we hit the half way point. Anyone notice this as well? Seems like it happens every year.

It's all in the plan.
Get to 6-2..lose the next 4 games and go to 6-6. Then win a must win game going to 7-6, then come back the next week and stink it up. Get to 7-7, and the rest is history.

Haven't we been 6-2 every year since 2005?

That'll be amazing against a tough schedule. If the Falcons are still undefeated by Week 15, there will be a GIANT ruckus guaranteed.

IF they don't want to repeat second half slump again, Justin Tuck has to step up his game.

Yep, as planned year in and year out. And then they take a dive in November, but maybe not this year. We SHOULD beat Pitt and Cincy in November, but GB is hitting their stride (it looks like) and they're looking dangerous again.

Good thing that we only have 3 games in November this year (1 week is our bye) because November is usually our month of doom and gloom.

We'd better at least beat Pitt and Cincy to get to 8 wins going into December which has a very tough 5 games in that month to end the season -- skins, Saints, Falcs, Ravens, Eagles. Saints and Eagles always have our #, the skins are dangerous, and the Falcs are 6-0 to start the season and will be better in their dome than last years playoffs at MetLife.

What happens if we lose to Dallas and go 5-3?

Isn't that a paradox? Would the universe then explode?

Yes
No no no. It'd implode, not explode! Silly Wabbit.

It doesn't matter if we end up 6-2, that happens pretty much every season. What I don't want is another secondhalf collapse. We need to win as many games as possible and keep the momentum going.

No no no. It'd implode, not explode! Silly Wabbit. It would implode and explode at the same time, because that's totally possible.

gmen have been 5-2 or better every year under coughlin (including 2004 when we finished 6-10, the only losing season for coughlin)

Only three.

"Manning improved to 26-5 all-time in October. Elias tells us that is the best October record for any starting quarterback since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970."

From ESPN, still ridiculously impressive
