Then we transform into an unstoppable force and win yet another Super Bowl.

Nothing wrong with winning the rest of the way in .14-2

That wold actually be a good thing for this team considering they have a losing record in November and December.

Exactly. We will be in a great position if we win against Pittsburgh and Cincinnati before the Bye. I'm so happy we have a late bye week. It's usually when things begin to fall apart.

It's a sad thing though that going .500 the rest of the way would be an accomplishment.

The Giants will be ready for these teams I think we will be 8-2 before our bye. I hope.

We suck so bad in November. Our bye week means we only play 3 games in november...

I was thinking that yesterday. If we go .500 in the remaining games we will be 10-6. Good thing the Giants are not like us and don't look at the math. Take each game as it comes and win, win, win. The rest takes care of itself

Bye weeks make me nervous.... have noticed some rust after the Bye weeks.

We still have some stiff competition ahead of us the rest of the way.....

Yep. 4-4 gets us to the magic number of 10 wins. Although in the WC race it may take more then 10 this year with the way some of the divisions are shaping up. Look at NFCN with Chicago at 6-1, GB and Minny at 5-3.. Then you have NFCW which has fallen off past few weeks but i think you may have two teams there with 9/10 wins. Lucky for us 10 wins will clinch the NFCE this year easy. maybe even 9 wins might do it the way some of these teams are falling off in our div

some people are complaining about yesterday..but to me, a win is a win and it got us to 6 on the season. One step closer to securing one of the 6 playoff spots. and as we giants fans know all you have to do is get in and then great things can happen

They need to win the conference & divisional games. 10-6 didn't cut it in '10

I dont wanna go .500 for the second half. I want 1.000. Thinking in those types of terms means we are ok with losing half of the next 8. That is NOT a Giants Fan attitude.

Neither do I. Winning every single game in the second half would be amazing. I'm sure 12-4 would definitely clinch the playoff spot this season though. My thing is, does having home field advantage really give us the advantage? We are road warriors after all lol.

Agreed that 10-6 will get us in the playoffs, but I want at least 12-4.

We're the defending SB champs with a deeper roster than any other team. Not in the mood to settle for anything less this year.

11-5, 12-4 should get us top 3 seed. Figure we host divisional rd, then go on the rd for the NFCCG, just like we like it.

I think that is a bit optimistic, I'm not sure 10-6 will do it. I'm thinking the Cowpokes could be there at 10-6 as well...

I don't care what these guys say in interviews... they know the playoff situation and they know the magic number and they consider future opponents.
