I wont defend his last few games. But Elis reality has many faces. He has duds no doubt but he can brilliant as well. Nobody plying today and almost anyone in history is as good as Peyton Manning. Eli isnt and doesnt need to be for us to win.

Eli was bad but our WR were not helping him at all today or last week. Someone needs to get open the way other wr get open against our defense. Cruz is the only one who can still beat his man. Nicks is worse than Hixon at this point.

I have no doubt that Eli WILL be fine, but unless you watched a different game than me today and last week... he isn't fine NOW

That's only true when receivers are open and reeling in the ball. They don't do that, we have nothing.

Somebody was open out there and if not, he should be able to lead and throw em open. He just doesn't have his head in the game. Where the hell is Barden? This coaching staff done went dumb.

Add a 1 before the 4 and that would be Perrilloux's career QB rating if we let him play starting next week.

Isn't Weatherford the third QB? Let him have a couple of series. He couldn't be much worse than Eli at the moment.

This thread was started partially out of frustration for his very poor play today and last week. I love Eli's ability to make the throws late in games when trailing to eek out wins; especially in big games. I hate his inconsistency and knack for sailing the ball out of reach way too often. If he was better and more consistent in the quarters 1-3, he wouldn't need so many miracles in the 4th. How many field goals vs touchdowns have the Giants scored in the red zone? Far too many. Eli has, throughout his career, a middle of the pack passer rating. He is special at crunch time, I'll give you that (not today, though), but I don't think that, overall, he is elite. I'd take Brady, Rodgers, Ryan, Schaub, Roethlisberger, Peyton, Brees, RG III, and Luck ahead of him.

the fact that you would take Luck, RG111, and Shaub shows you know pretty much 0 about NFl QBs...

A great QB makes mistakes. Sadly, this is New York, and we must kill everyone for making a semi-mistake.

Imagine if we had Mark Sanchez as a QB. He'd be dead.

Welcome back to reality Eli. You are not Peyton. Not even close. Now that is over reacting! Eli has his bad moments but he is clutch. After all, we all have bad days in the office. I just wished that the coaching staff would use the hurry up offense more often because that is Eli's strength. Also, let's not forget that using lame receivers like Nicks does not help. Neither does having to use Bennett a a blocker for most of the game because Diehl could not handle pass protection by himself. I am more worried about coaching decisions specifically the play calling on both offense and defense and player selection than Eli at this point.

Totally. Wouldn't be the first time some backup option-QB wearing #15 took over and took us to a SB victory...
