No one wants to hear it, but he's Steve Smith Part II. I don't know what's up with this dude. Year 1 he was beating double coverage. This year, he is invisible with no separation, but when Eli does throw to him, he drops it. Pathetic.

or when Eli could have ran into the endzone but tried to thread the ball to him through the Pittsburgh D and Ryan Clark could have taken him out for good.

Not really hard when there's no one really getting free. Though, that throw to Cruz in the end zone and the interception, brutal!

Cruz has been off all season, with a glimpse of light every now and again

Is cruz the only player on offense?

Ill disagree Cruz hasnt been off its Eli and his high passes or behind passes. He had Cruz up the middle but threw it way past him. Im sorry these last three weeks Eli has looked liek s**t.

after that hit in the endzone by Clark, Cruz did not want to get killed. Eli was off and is putting his receivers into harms way.

I would imagine with your limited knowledge of the sport makes it pretty difficult to watch... like me with NASCAR. I just don't understand why you would care if you don't understand the most basic principles.

No one wants to hear it because everything about what you just said is incredibly inaccurate

Cruz actually is having a good season....I cant say the same for Hakeem Nicks and Martellus Bennett. Bennett cant even block, I remember fans bragging about him being the best blocking tight end in the league...LOL yea right. Nicks is injury proned and I still think he's playing through pain....Hes not getting any separation. Cruz has been the only weapon we had all year. And lets thank Bradshaw for his 45 yard performance as well.

He isn't healthy!!
THEN SIT HIM TILL HE IS BUT DON'T HURT THE TEAM. IN A GAME LIKE TODAY EVERY PLAY IS CRUCIAL & 1 PLAY COULD MAKE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WIN OR A LOSS.

Cruz was not physically or mentally the same after the big hit - couldn't and wouldn't extend himself to get he ball if he were exposed. If its a rib injury you can't really blame him.

But one of our last 3 and outs - Eli had Cruz inside for a first and Cruz kept running upfield right into the coverage. They are usually much more in sync than that.

I think we should have seen Jernigan to give him a breather

Someone should remind him that his contract isn't done just YET.

Is cruz the only player on offense?

I have been saying the same thing. The problema with the offense isn't just on one player. It on the entire offense.
