This entire staff deserves a solid week of abuse from the media and ownership. Arrogance, lack of preparation and failure to adjust lost this game.

Fewell. Forcing turnovers should not come at the expense of run defense. These guys were looking for the strip all day long and not tackling. No one will hire you for a HC job if you defense is a joke in the 4th quarter.

KG: It is called the "no huddle" offense and if you ever watched a Steelers game you will see that it is their defense's Achilles heel. LeBeau can't thow crazy blitz and coverage packages out there when faced with a fast paced attack. They give up 8.5 yards per play against no huddle vs 4.5.

Quinn: Your coverage team is so embarrassing that if you were Japanese you would feel compelled to impale yourself but would probably miss.

Coughlin. Tynes sucks from 50+ so stop forcing it, especially outdoors. Diehl shouldn't be starting over Locklear and Bradshaw shouldn't be starting over Brown. It isn't even close. Given your background with WR you need to have a long talk with all of them. Cruz played like chicken little after getting thumped, Nicks can't separate and the rest of them are running the wrong routes. Punting with 3:30 when your defense is still in the locker room is flat out stupid.

This does not exonerate the players in any way but some of the decisions out there were baffling. Hopefully this is a reality check that gets them refocus for the rest of the season.

I still think the end result from the Defense points wise would of been fine had they not got gouged on Special Teams and had an offense that could change field position at least. They give up Net 17 points. Thats enough for the O to win

Agreed the coaching needs to take a lot of blame for this loss and the poor play over the past few weeks, as do the players.

Special teams has been solid most of the year, but were pretty bad this week. I don't consider that a trend just a bad week so they get a pass.

Defense has been horrible against the run and is getting gouged across the middle. I thought that would improve with the 3 safety sets, but so that didn't seem to help this week. They are a ball-hawking team, but you can't rely on that many turnovers every week. They need to get better against the run and improve on third downs. That being said, they are spending a lot of time on the field, the offense needs to help out here and reduce the three and outs to help the defense out a bit.

The offense is struggling, playing about as bad as an offense can play over the past few weeks. Credit the opponent defense for some of that, blame the inability to adjust on coaching and inflexibility in play calls. Execution has been bad, but the coaches should be trying to figure out why and making adjustments to get players in better position to make plays.

I believe all of these issues can and will be corrected. This is the slump that the Giants seem to hit every year around this time. I am just glad that we have a bye coming. The defense, while struggling, seems to be coming together after getting a lot of players back. They are getting pressure now and obviously have a knack for turnovers. Once the offense gets going again, they should be able to make a run in the playoffs.
