It must be at Philadelphia for you to even doubt an outcome I suppose, I assure you, Saints will torch the little Eagles with or without the defense.

Saints 38 - Philly 24

The Eagles are a desperate team but firing the DC for having an anemic offense tells me that something is not all up there with that team.

Tough game for sure, but I'm going with a Saints tight win.

Just hope their ****ty defense can hold off the Eagles offense.

The Saints defense is hideous but they were downright embarassed last week. At least the Chiefs and Skins games were tight down to the wire games. They also gave Green Bay all they could handle. Denver demolished them last week and made them look like a pee-wee squad. No way they are just going to let Philly come in there and win.

The Chiefs game was a last second flukey win. It is not like they dominated the Saints defense consistently in that game. Again, New Orleans was humiliated on National TV last week by Denver. Even with that hideous defense there's no way the Saints are going to lose this game at home tonight after what transpired last week. I would say the same thing if it wasn't the Eagles they were playing. If Brees has to put up 50 to win that's what he'll do.

The Eagles were humiliated by the Falcons too so I think you'd have to say that factor works both ways. Unlike the Saints, the Eagles actually do have some talent in that secondary in DRC and Boykin so it's just a matter of getting them in the proper scheme. You also have to consider the Saints have no run game and are dead last in stopping the run as well. It's very plausible that LeSean McCoy easily breaks off a few large runs to help out his team. As much as I like Brees the QB, this season is proof enough that a top 5 QB can't always carry you if the rest of the pieces are that abysmal.

If McCoy gets the ball around the 25 mark, he's going to have a field day because he will get it done against them. Their screen plays will torch the Saints but I hope brees throws like a mad man tonight. It's going to depend on who makes the bigger plays..I know its an obvious answer but I am going to say the eagles will win by a field goal because of Lesean Mccoy.

Yeah I don't think anyone would trust Vick more than Brees but don't forget that the Eagles have won a few close games this year. I trust the Saints D to blow a coverage or for a linebacker to take on a wrong angle in the running game than anything else tonight. They've been doing it all year.

They've been doing it all year.I hear you...but I just think Reid is going to feel the need to throw the ball a whole lot and not use Mccoy and if he does that I just think the Eagles lose. But if they use Mccoy a lot and are balanced on offense then yeah I agree the Eagles win. I also think that Brees is going to put up points no matter how good their DB's, that's why I think it comes down to offenses and the Eagles offense has been almost as bad as ours lol.

Based on the way the teams are playing, I think NO wins this game easily. Brees has been lighting it up throwing something like 20 TDs so far this year. The defense isn't great, but improving and aggressive. The Eagles have been pretty bad and are in complete disarray from the top down. When you have that many problems, complete collapse isn't far behind.

My gut, unfortunately, thinks the Eagles win this game. They have been beaten down lately and I expect them to come out angry and in support of their coach.

Guess I pretty much covered both sides pretty effectively now... but I will go with my knowledge (what little there is) and go with the Saints.

Yeah upsets happen, but you are making it seem like Philly will just waltz into the dome and grab a win. The Saints are unbeatable in the dome. Always have been. They are mediocre outside of it. Even when they were good. But inside their living room is another story.

Please tell me people are not trying to compare the Giants offense to the Saints offense or the production of Eli to Brees. I like Eli, and he a tough, smart, very productive QB. Brees is on another level than most QB's to have ever played the game.

Brees is also guilty of leading his team to garbage time leading touchdowns. He did just that against the Broncos.

He didn't have a great day against the Broncos though. Rodgers had that huge game in Houston with 6 TDs that gave him the 130+ QB rating.

Exactly. He hasn't been as consistent as Brees lol. He's still a great QB but from what I've witnessed, Brees has been better on a play-by-play basis. I'll admit it helps Brees stats that he plays from behind a lot.

You just said Brees didn't play that good in Denver. That Seattle game, the OL was mostly at fault for Rodgers having a bad game: 8 sacks, forgot the number of rushes and total hits he absorbed in that game.

And even though I'm not complaining that they got the L (Considering how many favorable BS calls they get), that still was a game the Packers should have won.

I don't think that's something you can really tell for sure unless he plays somewhere else like Warner for the Cardinals or Montana for the Chiefs.

Giants need to pass on the 1st 2 downs when in the RZ, instead of the ever predictable run-run-pass. Saints make it look so easy. If our D hasn't fixed it's issues by the time the Saints roll in, we may have to win it in a shootout.

Brees is the better QB, Rodgers has the better supporting cast and homefield

Rodgers has the better WRs (though the Saints receivers aren't slouches)

Brees has a far better stable of RBs, a better TE, and OL...and their offense always takes it to another level in the Superdome...

Rodgers had two games in a row with 130+ QB ratings. That's what I mean by him not being as good on a consistent basis. If you check out Brees game-by-game, it's more consistent.

You might not get the fully spectrum picture, but you can tell from his decision making he thrives in an offense like that. Playing in a run offense like our I really don't think he puts up the same MVP numbers he is putting up now. Plus hes sensitive and has soft skin, rattle him get in his head and he breaks mentally. Just my assessment.

Also Eli has never thrown 4 INT's in a game. Brees has.I've always said KG scheme and play calling doesn't do his stats justice for any of the qb stats. Plus when we are in the rezone all we do is a try to push it in with our backs when you have a perfectly good qb to throw it in. Sometimes I feel bad for Eli. Deeps throws down the field and no glory for the qb 10 yards and in to the redzone, in KG's scheme.

All rodgers need is better receivers, that offense barely runs the ball; they are high air power. And no one likes playing GB in Lambeau when games matter the most, Nov-Dec. I'll take harsh weather conditions over noise any day. I think GB's O-line is better than the Saints though. TE i agree no one holds a candle to graham.

They were burning his jerseys in the parking lot. Ralph printed an article about how disgusted he was with Eli's lack of passion after a bad performance. A few months later he was writing a book about "the making of a QB". I'll stick with Eli even after a bad game.

Yes, but the Giants should not lower their standards using the Eagles. Giants actually have to think about beating playoff-caliber teams.
