Lets be honest, we have seen this for years now. 6-2 and then BOOM.

So, seriously, is anyone actually surprised by this? I'm not.

The giants havent been that good, true, but losing to the bengals is like losing to ****ing JACKSONVILLE... that's the only way this game would have been worse.

OH WAIT, WE LOST TO JACKSONVILLE IN PRESEASON, AND ALMOST HAD A COMEBACK ON THE ARM OF RYAN ****ING PERRILOUX

This loyalty bull**** is killing me. BE LOYAL TO THE TEAM, NOT INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS.

Like some have said. I'm just surprised on how badly we're losing. No one showed up today. And the Bengals aren't that bad of a team. I knew it wouldn't be an automatic win, but I didn't think we'd lose like this. Let's see if this team can do something with themselves over the bye.

not really.....removing Andre Brown 4 games back and putting in Deihl for Locklear has completely turned around our season..........two stubborn bad Kahrma decisions

Actually, I thought the score would be 28-10 Bengals with Diehl and Bradshaw, so no....not surprised at all.

As long as Coughlin is the coach a 2nd half collapse will be a given.

I'm sorry but TC has shown his stupid *** loyalty has killed us once again I see 2010 all over again. Think we just got killed by the Bengals...the Bengals. I so glad the bye is next week so I don't have to watch this pathetic excuse for a SB champion.

No, this isn't a surprise as far as a loss. The Bengals aren't great but they're not terrible either. We've fallen apart in every aspect of this game and agree with what others have said about the loyalty issue. Loyalty to players, not the team over all.

They dont care. Team has a motivation problem

Kendo15

I'm surprised by the manner of the loss.

We didn't play well first half, but everything turned on two massive plays, the busted coverage to Green and the punt return.

Second half, I was starting to feel like we were going to come back, but after the Bradshaw fumble we have just fallen apart.

We do put in performances like this historically, usually in November.

Cinci are a decent side, but not great. Ditto Pittsburgh.

I thought Bilick made a lot of good points in commentary today, we look tired and lacking in focus.

A late bye might be a factor, maybe Sandy has really messed us up in terms of preparation and practice intensity.

But that's looking for excuses, we've not been good enough, really since the 9ers game.

But there's no point feeling sorry for ourselves, nobody else will.

We're 6-4, we need to re-group going into the bye and come out swinging and angry.

TC needs to think about a lot of things.

But two names have to occupy his thoughts Diehl and Bradshaw. Do these guys deserve to be starters?

I have a better question. Will anyone be surprised if this team and coaches talk for two weeks about improving and being embarrassed by their last game and then they get destroyed by Green Bay?

Yeah I was about to scratch my head when I read that post...This happens every season since Coughlin has been coach (not bashing him). And no, I'm not necessarily surprised, but you somehow believe that this team is quite aware of their meltdowns every midseason (which they are) and you think, hope and believe they learn from their mistakes and aren't doomed to repeat them.

Quite frankly, I am still an optimist that it won't be as bad as previous years, but only time will truly tell.

The Oregon Ducks have so much speed, they would leave this Giants defense standing still!

We lost because of......turnovers,.....busted defensive play that led to a TD............and special teams.
oh........and the offense looks lost.

I am not surprised they lost this game, but I am disappointed..especially with being able to gain a game in the conference. Now I am just worried about keeping Dallas out of the way.......Seems any kind of homefield advantage has been wiped away.

ManningToJPP

And we shouldn't be surpised if we go 6-6 either.

Guys I'm telling you, I am completely certain that we are going to lose to GB and WAS. Im 99.9% on this one.

We go 6-6 and then we need 3/4 to win the division over the cow ****s. Mentally prepare for 6-6...and our late season run!!!! Whos with me??? oooorah

I am just surprised on how they seem to go games with no pressure on the other team's QB. I guess I should not be surprised anymore.
