It's pretty basic... you have to control the line of scrimmage and run the ball. Under 100 yards rushing, we lose... unless Eli throws for big yards. Because we won without the run when Eli threw, we've abandoned a heavy rushing game to be replaced by Eli... that's killing us now. It's simple, our O-line MUST control the line of scrimmage.

DAL 78 yds rushing - LOSS
TB 71 yds rushing - WIN but Eli threw for 510 yards
CAR 113 yds rushing - WIN
PHI 39 yds rushing - LOSS
SF 116 yds rushing - WIN
WAS 43 yds rushing - WIN but Eli threw for 337 yards
DAL 78 yds rushing- WIN but barely... ugly game
PIT 48 yds rushing - LOSS
CIN 68 yds rushing LOSS

The NY Giants are run offense but we are not getting that done. Diehl has to sit now... he's not playing well at all. Locklear has to get back in there and we have to run... run... run... then set up the pass. We're forgetting who we are!

It can be salvaged if we get back to that.

Couldn't agree with you more... do you think we'll ever see play-action from KG again? It's like he's afraid of that inside the 25... and... can we please have a play for 3rd and 2 other than a long pass down-field.
