true - ur all right. They have been better than us past two years, last year specifically

BUT - that means nothing. They are still little brothers. Two losses in an AFC championship game just means they get a worse pick than us. They don't run NY, you need the hardware to do that.

Thats like saying the yankees have two down years and the Mets make the playoffs - do they run NY?

i think not

yeah so they got farther than us these past two years granted. but what cracked me was him saying that the Jets are better right now. Which frankly, is laughable. Talking smack fresh off a butt whooping really makes you sound scary Rex lmao.

i look at it like this: our defense is pretty pitiful right now - but Sanchez is equally as pitiful...

Jets defense is good, but overrated in this specific year. Our offense SHOULD dominate them.

I think our offense wins this game for us

He is right about the last two years though, as much as it pains me to admit it. We haven't won a playoff game since SB 42. Meanwhile, they've been to back to back AFC Championship games. It is what it is. As far as who is better this year, we get to shut his piehole up this Saturday. I just hope our pathetic defense actually shows up even a little bit.

I agree that his mouth needs to get shut this Saturday. It is up to the giants to do their thing. What the hell will it take to motivate this **** defense to actually knock someone out of the box? JPP is the only consistent thing on defense that we have. Maybe Corey Webster as well. Everything is on the line this game. If these players even give a **** about anything more than their paychecks, they will get it done.

Nobody is saying that. From a comparison perspective the GIants are still clearly the Yankees and the Jets are the Mets. Two years and zero championships doesn't change that. In fact, it would take decades to reverse that.

However, there's no question they are the better team over the past two years.

The Jets have been in the AFC Championship the last two years and the Giants have watched the Jets, on TV, in the AFC championship the last two years.

Why is it so painful to admit the Jets have been better?

All Giants have to do is win on Saturday and that will be the end of it.

I don't get mad because he's right... We haven't made the playoffs... But at the same time if you don't win the superbowl it really doesn't matter... His teams have always started off pedestrian and finish hot . But they haven't won... We are the opposite we start hot and fade at the end... If we play them in October the last 2 years we probably win... But if we play in December or january we probably lose... He hasn't won a trophy like we did not long ago. So really he's on the same page that we are. There have been times we have looked dominant the last couple of years... And times where we look terrible... Just like our little brothers, the jets... There have been times throughout the year that the Giants are better and other times when they are.. like I said if you don't win the prize it doesn't matter.. its nor like they have gone 15-1 and 14-2 the last 2 years

who cares what Rex the Hutt has to say. Yeah he has gotten the Jets to the playoffs the passed 2 years, albeit with some help from the Colts and Bengals 2 years ago.

But Rex has predicted the Jets would get to the Superbowl every year he's been the HC, and I expect that he and the Jets will not accomplish that feat again this season, should they make the playoffs.

Compare what the Jets have done in their first 40 years in the NFL to what the Giants have done in their first 40 years. Oh, that's right, there is no comparison.

How about in just last 25 years? Still no comparison.

Jet fans just want to talk about getting to the AFC Championship game the past few years. Yawn.

Do they realize that Richard Nixon was the president the last time they won a SuperBowl?

Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Reagan, Bush Sr, Clinton, Clinton, Bush Jr, Bush Jr, Obama...

That's a pretty long stretch since any Jet team has met the president after winning the SuperBowl.

This Jet team is not on the same level as the 2 previous teams. If they were playing in the NFC they wouldnt make the playoffs. However lucky for them the AFC has no dominate football team.If they get themselves in I dont see why they couldnt win a game or 2.The NFC top tier teams are much better then the AFC's which gives the Jets hope in the playoffs.Talent wise I think the Giants this year are more talented then the Jets.I really dont see whats so great about the Jets roster. There D line sux,There Oline sux, there offense looks terrible for the most part.I just think the Jets are going to come out with more fire and I havent seen anything from the Giants that would lead me to believe they will match it.

All Eli needs to do is take the snap and forget about worrying about Manningham running the wrong route or Ballard dropping the ball or his running backs being stopped at the line of scrimmage ...don't throw anywhere but aim for the sidelines, aim squarely for Ryans Jaw and take Rex out with the ball thats all i ask.

who cares what Rex the Hutt has to say.

You're a crafty one aren't ya?

too bad he is right...
Someone should point out to that fat idiot that they haven't won a championship in 48 years. The Giants own New York and always will.

You don't really believe what you just typed do you? The Giants hadn't owned anything since Plax got shot & that's the plain hard truth.

I don't' see how that invalidates what he said since the Jets haven't owned anything either.

Are we really down to comparing the records of all the also-rans for the past 5 years? Is that a meaningful metric?
