I posted awhile back that my Niece was in Afghanistan and returned in October. I was impressed with the positive posts I received. Well Jamie contracted a virus that has attacked her spinal cord, was paralized and was in the V.A. Hospital for over a week. She can walk but has not feeling from the waist down. Her meds are making her sick and she is extremely depressed. They say she may never recover which just kills me!

She is an Eagle fan who sat with me and cheered for the Giants to kick the skins a**!!! I want to do something special for her since she risked her life for this country. Is there anyone out there that would be willing to sell me tickets to the Giants/Eagles game at face value???? I would love to go with her to see it. I apologize for breaking the rules but I just don't where else to go. God bless you all!!

I dont think you will get banned for this and i think it is more important above all for us to be well aware of the sacrifices people make for our country. but i am deeply sorry to hear what has happened. I dont currently know anyone who are selling tickets but i will definitely look around. Check your pm, i have a question to ask you if you do not mind.

Please make sure she is seeing an Infectious Disease specialist at a large university hospital. You will get the best care for her there. Do not rely on the VA system. If you are in New York you have many options. In Philly, I would definitely go to UPenn.

Call the GIANTS main Number, and as for the folks mentioned in the thread.

I already sold my Eagles tickets, but if I did not, they would be yours.

But ask for Pat Hanlon's office, or ask for Joanne Lamneck. Joanne used to be Wellington Mara's executive assistant, and is a great lady.

I believe the number is: (201) 559-1515

My sister has advised me that due of the slow respose of the VA, they turned Jamie away 3 times before admitting her, that even though she can walk she may never get back the feeling in her legs because her immune system which attacked her spinal cord may have damaged her nerves. Makes it even more sickening to know that our vets are not treated the way they should be!!! Haven't been able to secure tickets to the game but will not stop trying. Thanks to all who have expressed their grattitued for her service.
