Why is no one talking about this? This would be a huge blow to the team.

Not all news was good news on Sunday afternoon, and while the New York Giants (http://www.giants101.com/tag/new-york-giants/) were able to route the New Orleans Saints 52-27 (http://www.giants101.com/2012/12/09/the-new-york-giants-rout-saints-52-27-in-break-out-game-for-david-wilson/), it came at a price. Both running back Ahmad Bradshaw (http://www.giants101.com/tag/ahmad-bradshaw/) and cornerback Prince Amukamara (http://www.giants101.com/tag/prince-amukamara/) suffered injuries that dramatically altered their playing time, and could affect their status for a week 15 game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Amukamara, who has gotten better each week as the season has moved along, suffered a hamstring injury in the second half and would not return. Rookie Jayron Hosley (http://www.giants101.com/tag/jayron-hosley/) took his place.

"I canít diagnose it now, I donít know how bad it is. But I was getting ready to get wrapped up and go back in the game," Amukamara said. "Iíve played with a hammy [injury] before. You've just gotta wrap it up."

I seen it happen on the interception by Brown, he was trying to run down field and make a block. This could be really bad

It would mean we need CWeb and Hosely starting with Tryon backing up and playing the nickle? Man we are extremely thin at CB. Wish we still had Coe.

Stevie Brown was running back his second pick and Prince was running along as a blocker and grabbed the back of his right leg like he was shot

I will wait to the end of the week before worrying. Prince has been rather delicate. Hosley is tough and wants to play-he will do alright if needed.

Even if he's able to play on Sunday, I'm still concerned. A compromised Prince vs. Roddy White or Julio Jones is scary.

Lets see how he feels later this week. The good news is they are playing in a dome next week and not in cold weather.

I saw him running towards Brees and thought he he threw his arm up because he wasnt going to get the opportunity for the hit... but he looked extremely frustrated at something.

We would use will hill or rolle at nickle before tryon

If he's out for next week's game we could be in trouble. C-web, Hosley and Tryon are no match for Julio and Roddy...not to mention Gonzalez.

He said he has played with this injury before but we will see. Hopefully KP is ready to go this week, if Prince can't go.

They won just replace Prince. He has been their best secondary player this year. He said he would have come back in but that was yesterday. We will know better later in the week. He probably has an idea after he woke up this morning.

Why did it have to be the best corner on the team? Why couldn't it be Webster or something?

no worries if our D line can put a lot of pressure on matty icicle.

no worries if our D line can put a lot of pressure on matty icicle.Yea but if the coverage isn't there, the pass rush won't matter if the QB gets the ball out in less than 2 seconds on every play. That's what Dalton did to us, the quick pass killed us that game, our pass rush never had a chance to do anything at all.

I love prince but you guys need to chill its monday, way to early to tell if he will be able to go or not. He has played through this injury before but well see. If he can't go for some reason, we have the 3 safeties in rolle, brown, and hill, and maybe phillips will go. Also everyone saying you would rather have webster go down..are you nuts as bad as this guy can be sometimes he also has good moments, the dude can be a defensive leader at times (Rolle is the true defensive leader). Our D-Line will have to step up this week either way. They HAVE to put pressure on Ryan and this explosive ATL offense. with that being said.. I believe in our team! Go Giants!!

To me Prince has shed this delicate image. He's been playing tough lately and was playing especially stout this game. Doesn't avoid contact. Plenty of hustle and effort.
He doesn't deserve to be called delicate. thank you.

Yeah, not many people saying that anymore. He is strong in run support.

This is huge with Atlanta looming - gotta hope for the best. We really need Prince now and more importantly healthy if we make it to the postseason

bummer....lets see what happens. Even a mild strain is not good.Hopefully it's a mild one and at least they are playing in a dome this week. Honestly I'm hoping for a time consuming run offense that keeps the defense off the field. Maybe they can use a 4 Safety formation if KP comes back.

Some guys just can't stay on the field. Add Prince to that list.
