If the next 3 weeks are determined by W/L percentage.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/playoffscenario?algorithm=WinningPct

In other words, based on strength of schedule, the Giants have an uphill road.

On strength of schedule, it forecasts Washington winning out to go 10-6, and the Giants dropping the Atlanta and Ravens games to finish at 9-7.

However, if the Giants drop to Atlanta, but beat Ravens and Philly, they Giants go 10-6 and get the wildcard.

I think if we win out we have a solid chance at the 2 seed, with even more luck we could get the 1 seed if Atlanta and San Fran loses out, and Green Bay drops one.

Yeah. We're gonna lose to the ravens. HA! We're probably not even gonna lose to the falcons let alone that pathetic ravens that would rather throw than run it despite having one of the best backs in the league.

That's my favorite realistic scenario.

Falcons, Packers get the bye.. We face the Seahawks, hopefully beat them then face the Falcons again

The Browns aren't too bad. If Griffin is out they could down Washington.

I'd rather not face the Seahawks...

love how everyone believes washington is this unbeatable team now...rg3 plays or not, they lose tmrw and vs the eagles. thats my bold claim. theyll end up beating dallas last week of the season (dallas loses to pitt tmrw) to give wash. a shot if everything falls in place for them, which it doesnt...we'll get the seahawks or bears round 1, or, worst case scenario, we get a WC. if we win 2/3 we get a WC guaranteed and with a 2nd unit philly team week 17 id say we have a 99% chance at the post season

Who's saying they're unbeatable? You look at the match-ups, not just the team. The Skins match up favourably with the remaining teams on their schedule, so it wouldn't be a shock if they managed to win out.

Didn't you say that the Bengals were going to smash the Cowboys?

That's pretty much the issue. Redskins are running this pistol scheme which defenses are struggling against and you combine that with the easy 4th place schedule they had from last year and it's to be expected from them to win out. It will all come down to RG3's leg and how mobile he is. If he isn't a threat to take it to the outside or if Cousins has to start, Morris will be easily contained and they will be forced to pass the ball with a very inexperienced rookie QB. Browns should easily win in those scenarios.

its normal to be nervous when it comes down to the wire. for the last few years, games like these have always been nail biters to the end

Didn't you say that the Bengals were going to smash the Cowboys?yeah i did. that was a terrible predi...wait, no the bengals were up by two scores before the biggest miracle bs comeback ever. how does aj green drop that one pass ill never know. even so, some one alert the media, i got a prediction wrong lol

and i wasnt trying to say around here only, everywhere u look on tv people are on this "redskins cant lose" bandwagon bc of rg3. theyve won, what 4 in a row? before that they were 4 games under .500 and that was with rg3. sorry tho, ill make sure to fall in line with everyone. "Redskins cant lose. Giants will HAVE to win out to make the playoffs bc the redskins will." (i just dont believe that and have no issue saying so, sorry if that irks you.)

I hope you are right about the wild card- cuz chances are the Skins run the table and we lose to Atlanta but beat the next two- That stupid loss to the Skins really hurt us- all because we do not use our strength to Skins weakness in the 2d half.
