I was reading how the Ravens aren't concerned with our pass rush and after thinking about it further, really why should they? Our line is living on last year's reputation. Thoughts?

I've heard of this thing where a defender beats an offensive lineman and gets near the QB...is that what you're referring to?

the only one who fears our current pass rush is our secondary.

The only people that fear our pass rush are the analyst.

Sadly, this made me laugh. Other than a few key games, our pass rush hasn't lived up to its reputation this season.

The Giants defensive line is living off it's reputation.

It doesn't help that Marvin Austin is a bust.....he was supposed to be a big factor.

JPP is getting double teamed.....Osi is playing to avoid injury......Tuck has checked out of the game mentally and emotionally.

Combine all that with a Defensive Coordinator who refuses to rotate his line, and you've got a feeble pass rush.

Maybe we need to go back to the 3-4? Start drafting stud LBers again like we did back in the 80s.

IMO, only the Steelers LBing corps of the late 70s was more fearsome & better than our LBing corps of :

LT
Harry Carson
Pepper Johnson
Carl Banks
Gary Reasons

Ravens are basically the first team to dis our passrush.

Maybe they'll come out angry and pissed with something to prove amidst the disrespect and crush Flakeo.

......Or else they could just suck like they been doing all year

I think on the rollercoaster ride, this week should be our high. So they should be angry and pissed and do well. After that it is anyone's guess to who shows up.

wtf r the ravens thinking? thank god for us tho, if this dont wake a sleeping giant, nothing will this season. if the DL doesnt get to flacco now, this team doesnt deserve to be in the playoffs even. testicular fortitude is a lot of the time the deciding factor in the playoffs, and if our DL dont get to flacco early and often, they dont got any

I hope so. Maybe hearing the opponents praise them is reverse psychology and lulls them into complacency.

Opposing runnig backs love our pass rush, There's no blocking involved and you can run right through it.

Is this in response to Harbaugh's comments? Or did someone else on the Ravens say that?

The last time the pass rushers manhood was seriously challenged was before the 49er game. TC told them that no one believes they can do it anymore...hopefully that message was delivered...and it will have the same effect this week...

You have to have a pass rush to be feared.

THINGS OUR OPPONENTS WORRY ABOUT MORE THAN OUR PASS RUSH:

1-i f the gatorade is cold enough
2- what they're getting for christmas
3- if they remembered to turn off the stove
4- if they're getting enough roughage
5- the mayan calendar

The Giants defense is average at best...they cause no confusion for any offense.

I'm still waiting for a 3 and out...when was the last time this defense did that?
